This is probably one of 5 important games SGA has played in his pro career as the 1st option. I don't understand how people can compare him to Luka.

Anyway, Canada choking puts them under pressure to beat Spain. Do or die for both teams. We'll see what Spain can take away from this Canada loss in terms of things to implement on defense. That said, I don't see Canada peforming this badly on offense again and Spain doesn't have a ball handler like Yago who simply refuses to lose the ball. 10 assists and 1 turnover as a point guard against an NBA back court is about as good as it gets.

Luka is the gold standard for young players. I do not even compare Ja to him and Ja has signature playoff performances. Still not close.

Wow, we knew second round will be interesting, but this is more interesting than I thought. I am just in a mood, cause Lithuania clinched the spot, I am sorry if you are Canadian fan. Still, I would say clear favorite against Spain, but insecurities have been reborn for sure.

Same in group I.
We, practically have 4 single elimination games on Sunday :

Canada vs Spain
Latvia vs Brazil
Serbia vs Dominican Republic
Italy vs Puerto Rico

4 Euros potentially dropping out like that. Or maybe Canada dropping out.

Canada can definitely bounce back. The U.S. lost to Nigeria in '21 and still went on to win the Olympics. **** happens sometimes.

Thanks man, I do try, I am a huge FIBA guy, and was released from hospital yesterday, so now it all gets easier, and I might even have less typos while typing, since I finally have PC again. But sorry about grammar sometimes, not my native language.

Latvia beating France and Spain, and still aren't guaranteed 1/8 spot is just not fair...

In this format, sometimes the one who wins gold finishes with 3 Ls overall on their record, while 5th. team can win everything but only have one bump in quarterfinal and thats it, they out of final 4

i actually did. i said it wasn't that impressive on the knicks board. his offense is still the same. forces drives with 3 defenders on him and jacks up 3s. has shown very little growth in his offense since college. still has zero mid range game, can't hit jumpers off the dribble, no pull up game.. etc. just a 3 and drive player and his defense still sucks.

Glad you're out of the hospital, buddy! Enjoy the rest of the World Cup.

He was in the PO twice, once with LAC and once with OKC, played 30 MPG as a rookie and played 40MPG in close 7 game series in his 2nd year...

Ignore him. On the Knicks board he's known for being happier when RJ has a bad game vs the Knicks winning a game. Has a perpetual hard on against RJ because he sees him as a threat to his idol, Julius Randle :clown:

No one with a brain would bite anyway.

He's disgustingly terrible in every environment(FIBA/NBA/you name it). No team will ever phone the Knicks asking about him.
