Italy won over Serbia. (That 17 pt comeback haunting Serbia now, because of that choke they’ll face the US in the QF)

You mean they face Lithuania - USA winner? Oh ok, we were about to win, but we will throw a bone to US today, no problem.

Italy, because they won against Serbia. Lithuania does not need a win here. Its a shame because it would be interesting to see, if they needed.

He just exploded at the coach.

He's always been a bit of a headcase to be honest.

Also the reason why Maxi isn't on this team. Probably also the reason why he doesn't stick around NBA teams for long despite his obvious talent.

Lithuania playing bully ball.
I guess they are afraid that if they lose today and with the Latvia win they'll never hear the end of it from their neighbours.

So QF so far;

Italy vs Lithuania
Serbia vs USA
Germany vs X
Slovenia vs X

If Spain wins, they end up #2 and faces Germany (Latvia takes on Slovenia)

If Canada wins, they end up #1 and faces Slovenia (Latvia takes on Germany)

***just saw that Lithuania has a double digit lead over the Americans so maybe Serbia gets lucky LOL

Love Fiba refs not taking any crap.

As a Mavs fan watching him today really concerns me and pisses me off. Really 0 improvement in the area of on court behaviour. Still the same immature, overly emotional **** as always, when he manages to cut back on that he will make another step.

US still favored by 3.5 pts despite this big lead. Time to live bet on the Americans should be easy money.

Brunson is good tho, for a guy who is 6'0 or smth, his post defense is rather insane.

When Gordon Herbert took over the German national team two years ago, he said that the goal was to win a medal at every tournament. Some thought he was crazy. There aren't many laughing people left right now.
