Even worse luck that Davis’ ground rule double would easily have had him standing in 3rd.

They obviously wouldn't have scored him in that spot anyway.

yup, we've had two weak tappers back to the pitcher. I dont know what these idiots (Vlad and Merryfield) are swinging at. Both swung at the first pitch, and both hit a weak tapper to the pitcher.

Royals have huge power compared to this team. Fully expecting them to get the job done here.

This offense is shockingly bad.

Not sensing any urgency from his team other than Davis

Marsh goes 11 pitches to complete the third inning.

Davis Is just a good hitter right now and everyone else not so much.

Does anybody really think the Rangers aren't gonna just destroy this team next week?

Why do these seemingly softly hit fly balls keep carrying.

This team has a tendency to play at the level of their opponents. They rise and fall with the quality of the opposition

I expect 3/4 to be close games

Merrifield hit .232 in the month of August, and .231 in September so far. This after hitting .356 in July. He has been underwhelming for nearly 5 weeks now.
