Anyone else missing from this German roster? Their defense is really something in that they can adjust to the quicker teams (USA, Canada, etc) but has the size if the other team wants to go big...

Hartenstein, Kleber? Of course Serbias misses are on another level, but do not go full AMerican with B team excuse. It is what it is, Last years Serbian team was stacked, didnt even make medal stage, you never know how things would have turned with different variables.

No no, i was wondering how strong they'll be for the Olympics in case they have other major changes in this roster (but why though since they just got the World Cup)

Well maybe but Germany still played really well and is a well deserved World Champion.

But at the end I was just thinking that Serbia, if they had won, would be the worst World Champion in the last 50 years. Those guys did what they can and they can be proud of themselves but you can't compare them with the guys that won in 1998 or 2002 for example.

Some players are getting old, but I expect the same roster next year in Paris if they are healthy. The team that qualified deserves to go there. After the Olympics there could be a small rebuilding phase.

It is a bit dark, not everyone will get it, but I thought it would be funny....

If I as a German can laugh about it nobody should have a problem.

Little joke about the same topic:
English Prime Minister Maggie Thatcher and German Chancellor Helmut Kohl meet one day after Germany won against England in soccer. Says Kohl to Thatcher, "We beat you in your national sport!" Replies Thatcher: "Well, we beat you in your national sport twice..."

we germans are not a warlike people, but even we have limits!

I agree, I would've gone with one of those two but apparently they prefer to give it to someone on the winning team here, too.

Hoping for teams to be able to bring their best players for the next one. This is the most parity we've had worldwide ever and it would be incredible.

Lithuania sent their A squad, are you high? Half the team that didnt play would beat Lithuania team in this tournament most likely (Sabonis, Kulboka, Ulanovas, Grignonis, Lekavicius, Echodas, Butkevicius...). Bruh.
