Pretty sure they're both fully guarenteed this year

Just find a team to take them for cash or waive and stretch. They're already over the second apron so it shouldn't really matter when you have the chance to add a legit rotation guy.

Sounds like we’ll have competition for his services but if he’s down to come to Milwaukee it’s a no brainer.

I'd take a swing on Kira Lewis, Jr over Wright, But I've been on the bandwagon since his draft.

A 2 for 1 trade using Allen+ and then adding Cam Payne would turn this off-season from a meh to really solid very quickly

I think we can trade Livingston but can't trade Green, fwiw, until Dec. 15th. I also think trading Livingston would be a pretty **** thing to do and breach trust with Rich Paul, which could be ugly.

When can we trade guys? I'll do all 21, based on their current contracts (e.g. Gortman's camp deal can't be traded until Dec. 15th, but if he signs a 2 way, he can be traded 30 days afterward) and my understanding (i.e. my reading of Larry Coon's site).

Guys we can trade now:
Giannis
Jrue
Grayson
Bobby
Pat
MarJon
Dre
Livingston
Omari Moore (2 way)
Wiggs (2 way)

Guy we can trade Sep. 28th:
TyTy Washington (2 way)

Guys we can trade Dec. 15th without their permission:
Khris
Malik Beasley
Robin Lopez
Drew Timme (camp)
Gortman (camp)
Marques Bolden (camp)

Guys we can trade Dec. 15th with their permission:
Jae Crowder
AJ Green
Thanasis

Guy we can trade Jan. 15th without his permission:
Brook

Another piece of minutia to consider is that camp contracts and 2 ways don't count as outgoing salary. So unless the other team really wants the player, no point including them.

Not a Cam Payne fan at all. Poor defender, streaky shooter, careless ball handler. He’s terrible. I’d give any of Gortman, Tyty, or Moore a shot over him. He plays and talks like he thinks he is Kyrie when he’s a poor mans brandon jennings. I’d take Jevon back in a heartbeat over Payne

Adrian Griffin: Giannis and I are on the same page. We have a great relationship so far and he’s been just pleasant to get to know. He wants to win and I want to win and it’s that simple. So I respect him. I respect what he’s accomplished in this league and we’re here together to win. So I have no problem with that. I think it’s a great partnership. We’re going to lead the team together. When he leads, the others will follow, so I think it’s great.

Cam Payne sucks. The box is the better signing.

For Griffin, Antetokounmpo’s comments were a continuation of the messaging the Bucks organization gave when they hired him as head coach in June.

“Absolutely not,” Griffin responded when asked if he thought Antetokounmpo’s comments added more pressure for his first season in Milwaukee. “Like I said, we’re aligned. We’re here to win. And the one thing I’ve talked to our team and my staff about is embracing expectations. We have a really good roster. Instead of running from it, we want to embrace it.”

Griffin’s keeping it as positive as he can RE Giannis.

I like the notion of embracing expectations in particular.

Other notable bits from the Bucks Foundation Golf Outing interviews:

- Khris and the rest of the roster expected “to be ready to go” at the start of training camp.

- When asked about the opportunities MarJon and other young guys might expect, Griffin emphasized they need to earn it, and didn't respond directly to the follow up about whether he’ll go with something like a Nick Nurse style 9 man rotation. Far from definitive but not singing praises either is my read.

- Stotts says their job is to maximize everyone’s talents offensively and make sure everything fits. Terry also said he thinks the plan will evolve rather than there being a set plan today with so much time before the first game.

Would you trade Pat and Grayson for D'Angelo Russell? Could not happen until Dec 15th. Russell has an $18 million PO next year.

Khris gets called lazy because of his demeanor/athleticism but to me it’s evident he’s an extremely hard worker based on his career trajectory and the evolution of his game as he has aged. Idk if he’ll ever get back to his 21 self but I’m excited to see him healthy again.

He looks the same to me, just glad to see him on the court without a limp.
