This Jets team is really, really good without Rodgers. They're a really well balanced roster, iffy OL, but dogs across all levels everywhere else.

But with Zach Wilson at QB they're only able to access the lowest possible success on the spectrum of what that talent can achieve.

i have never been an nfl fan but due to associated loyalties always leaned jets. i heard AR got hurt, threw the game on, and i feel like my fandom just activated. some sort of pavlovian response to my knicks trauma

This "ankle injury" is reminiscent of when KD tore his Achilles and they kept talking about it as an ankle injury in the immediate aftermath, before getting a full diagnosis.

He's such an anchor. They'd be a playoff team, and a dangerous one at that, if they had even a league average QB.

Zach is literally the favorite to be worst QB in the league as a starter. That's so debilitating - a death knell honestly - to a good roster's chances.

I really can't do this. I will watch this game tonight. If Zach doesn't get us in the end zone I'm done until Aaron comes back or the third string QB is bumped up to where he belongs. Zach isn't even PS level talent.

On the plus side, I think this means the Jets keep their 1st in the 2024 draft. GB would get their 2nd instead.

I saw it too. It's a wrap folks. That's not his ankle. That's for damn sure. The season is over after one pass attempt and four plays.

Only question remaining is, are there ANY scrap heap QBs we can get? Zach is a BUST.
