It's true, I looked but just couldn't find a good photo. Are you a bulls fan? Do you recall how quickly he put on weight in America or is my memory playing tricks on me? I do remember the discussions for sure.

I grew up in the 80's watching the Lakers and Celtics but came to love basketball while watching the Bulls in the 90's - like most my age lol. Toni was a 6-10, 195-200 lb SF for the Bulls during their second threepeat, he dominated Europe before coming over when he was 25. He played some PF but didn't really switch over till about 33-34 yo. I don't recall this weight gain till he hit his 30's but then, don't we all have that problem

This entire series released throughout the year commemorating our 50th Anniversary season is exceptional.

The final episode features a lot of our young group, including Wemby:

Seems like he’s still got ways to go as the post could be affected by angle, lighting, so on. Seems as if he’s on the right track though :D

Yao Ming was 310 pounds!

Anyone else glad that Wemby didn't waste his time with the French FIBA team this summer? They're out after 2 games.

I'm happy to see the pics of him training and getting runs in with the Spurs.

Or not since the problem is the coaching staff who is clueless and has been for years. No proper playmaker in the team, no leadership, Wemby at the current stage of his career would not have changed a thing.

As a french myself, I'm glad he skipped this summer honestly.
For France, for sure it was a disaster, many players weren't there, we had no pgs, we didn't call Huerter because he plays in Russia league (drawing severe criticism from Batum on the french federation), etc...

Anyway, it's ALL about next year : the olympics are taking place in Paris.
Now if he were to skip next summer, that'd be an enormous surprise and a PR disaster.

Totally agree, I have been a Spurs fan since the 80s and totally get the international team commitments, it doesn't bother me at all. I would always root for Argentina and France against the USA anyway bc I'm a Spurs fan first haha.

Next summer will be a special moment for France and Victor with the Olympics in Paris. Hopefully he has a great season and is coming off a ROY award.

Curious if anybody seems some standouts thusfar in the 2024 draft. Yesterday was a fun game with GLI vs. Perth. I think Alex Sarr and Ron Holland in particular impressed me.

Am I crazy, or is that not a really great sign for his future durability?

I'm not sure how many 7 footers in the NBA could do that. Probably none...

probably not, but France's frontcourt future is ridiculous, with Wemby and Sarr, their games should pair up well. Back to back French #1 picks(?)...would make history.

Ehhh this is just the Ignite, look at the state of their D lol

I watched Sarr a lot this summer, he played 22mins a game for the U19 France team, and averaged 7 points 6 rebounds with 45% shooting. I'd call him *maybe* their 3rd best player, Ajinca and Perrin were easily better. He doesnt really have a game on offense, and he needs to get one ASAP because tall and athletic guys are a dime a dozen in the NBA.

Stretching is amazing for your long term health.

Saved my life roughly 20 years ago, when I was in a bad physical condition after 2 surgeries.

I keep doing my daily 10 minutes stretch exercises up till today.
