So hand the team to a QB you had so little belief in that you refused to pass the ball with like 9 in the box and your best WR in single on island coverage. Nobody believes your dumb meathead bull you fake **** coach.

Why don't yall go get Matt Ryan? He's way better than Wilson and with this receiving core.. as much as I never liked Ryan and ALWAYS thought he was vastly vastly overrated bc of Julio Jones & Roddy White... he could still win u games

I heard it reported that the Jets are kicking the wheels on the backup (or former backup) to Pat Mahomes in KC. I think his name is Henning? Or Hennig? Something like that.

I am right behind you BUT, I have to give it a few more games. I can't believe I am willing to torture myself because I don't think Buster Wilson has what it takes to even make the playoffs. I still have to give him a shot. I was too invested in this team to quit as soon as Rodgers hit the turf. I almost shut the TV off and burned what little gear I have left but, I need to be sure that we aren't going anywhere yet again. This team is too good to give up on.

I am still pissed we didn't tighten up our OL and that caused immediate damage to the season after 4 plays! I also 100% disagree with sticking with Buster Wilson but, it is what it is. I fully expect to be done in a few weeks though. Opposing QBs aren't gonna give up 4 turnovers every week and special teams won't be scoring TDs either. That will be obvious soon enough. So I need to see that through before I shut it down.

The only question left is...who can we get at QB next year that will make a difference? I don't expect Rodgers to be back and if he is, I doubt he has much left in the tank.

This is so SOJ that I can't take it anymore. Wasting a 2024 2nd round pick is bad enough. This may be my last hoorah. I am convinced Namath made a deal with the devil! This team is so cursed it isn't even funny!

I started to cancel my Sunday Ticket, that $hit ain't cheap ($400), but I decided to keep it and see where they go with their other weapons. But yea, we went from superbowl talk to wildcard contender real quick.

Definitely a good case to be made for there being a curse. The 86 Mets probably made the same deal  But I'll give it another year or two to see what Douglas can do. The silver lining in all this is we keep our 2024 1st round pick.

At least the Mets made a couple of WS after that.

It's been 55 years!! I wasn't even alive yet! One SB in 60 years of existence(not counting 4 years as the Titans)! Only 4 teams have not made it to a SB and two didn't even exist when the Jets won theirs. CLE/DET/HOU/JAX!! CLE/DET at least have four championships on their record but, yeah.

82/98/2009/2010 are the only AFCCGs they have been in since they won the SB in 68. We haven't even made then playoffs in 13 years! Something has got to give!

I can make a fun fact about this

Since 1983, the Jets and Jags have made the same number of AFC Championship games, despite the Jags not existing until 1995

That's almost as fun of a fact as since the last Cowboys' Superbowl, they have the same amount of playoff wins as the Jags, but the Jags have 3 Divisional Round wins to the Cowboys' 0.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

Chalk it up to mismanagement. Douglas seems competent though! I haven't seen a Jets defense like this since The Sack Exchange! and the running game is the best I've seen. All Wilson has to do is stay within himself and limit the dumb mistakes. We'll just have to play some smash-mouth football!!

Rex Ryan had great defense. Too bad he liked ground and pound offense. That team had a shot if Rex had a clue on offense.

Nope.

Same for the Yankees. The only thing REMOTELY interesting about them the rest of this year and next was watching the career of Jasson Dominguez. Now that's gone. Another sport I won't have to, and won't, watch a single second of anymore.

But football? The Jets? I'm actually thanking God for this one. The Jets SUCK. Such an abject failure of a franchise. And football is honestly really f*cking boring. Ever try to watch a whole game of a team you aren't rooting for, betting on or don't have a fantasy player on? The games, which used to take 2.5 hours to play, then 3 hours, now routinely take 4 hours to play.

Anything else is a better use of my time.
