They shouldn't be penalized either. The NBA needs to step up. If he is guilty of what they say, he should never be able to play in the NBA again. I don't care what they say to justify it or if they say he's rehabbed, even if it's years later!

I think I'd have to stop supporting The League. I understand NBA talents are rare and they don't want to water the league down unnecessarily but this isn't the first incident in recent memory for The League and this might be a situation where a zero tolerance rule is the way to go. It's weird to think about rooting for a player who did that to a cute young woman who isn't some random chick. I'm not sold on letting Bridges back in. I'd like the standards to be made available to the fans/the public including the decision making process. I still have beef with Derrick Rose continuing making millions playing ball after essentially admitting to raping a woman with his friends.

what?? wow. This is why I hate finding out about musicians. I mean, if it's horrific, I want to know not to support them but I hate loving an artist only to find out they are trash humans!

You guys are forgetting one of the leg-ups to acquire Giannis, he won't be going to a team that won't be in a better winning position (on paper) than the Bucks. He has been there his entire career and won a chip, it's going to take a heck of a ready-made team to pry him away. I don't see an outcome where that would be OKC. They will do whatever he wants, this isn't the same as Lillard, because Giannis got a chip for them.

Something to keep in mind.

Both Queta and Michael Foster Jr looked good in summer league this year. They've both been 2 of the best bigs in the g league for the past 2 years.

Yes, Queta is bigger, and probably the more NBA-ready player today. BUT Foster is 4 years younger (he's only 20!). Foster was also a 5 star recruit coming out of HS, then went straight to the g league. Queta played 3 yrs at a mid major school. So Foster probably has more long term upside.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I haven't tracked Queta at all.

I missed Michael Foster Jr on your slim pickins FA list from 10 pages back, but was impressed with what I saw of him in summer league. Undersized for C, but strong. 6'8" with 7' wingspan. Decent handle. Can post up, nice mid range turn around. Smooth 3-ball. I don't see much footage of him passing, or much indication that he can defend at NBA level. His ability to get up quickly for blocks looks exceptional.

At 20, there's a lot of room for Foster Jr to grow though. Reminds me a bit of PJ Washington. Maybe more athletic. A young Paul Millsap type? These undersized guys with enough skill and desire can carve out a role.

Maybe Foster would take a 2-way spot and develop this year, possibly get called up to the Celtics for spots to give rotation bigs some rest. I wouldn't want to be in the position to rely on a 20 year-old come playoff time, but for 15th spot or 2-way, he may be worth bringing in.

For young bigs that are available, both Gabriel or Foster Jr look good to me.

And some Foster mixtape porn. Why not? Training camp is still 3 weeks away.

See, he's the bastard love child of Zion Williamson and Tracy McGrady

Cs don't need Giannis. Jaylen Brown better than Giannis anyway.

So I guess Giannis has finally learned his lesson.

I continue to like the idea of Nerlens Noel as Timelord-lite.

Of course, that makes sense mainly if Timelord is a big part of the general plan, but I like that idea too.

Maybe Gallinari gets traded and released again. I mean, I would have preferred he play a bit more often but I def enjoyed the Gallinari as 15th man experience.

I am surprised to learn that Noel is still under 30. Seems like he has been around for so long. Maybe it is because he doesn't really do anything on the basketball court for several years now?

Not seeing the value for Celtics. Him and Queta both let go by Sacto. Two guys who can go after every block, but what else? Can they quickly rotate out to the perimeter on D like Rob? If not that, can they contribute on offense by making an occasional open 3? Neither shoots the 3.

Neither are perimeter defenders and don't shoot the 3. Joe is likely not going to give such a player any minutes at all.

Porzingis, TimeLord - Outside/Inside
Horford, Noel - Outside/Inside
Kornet - Reserve

Could see it, but I doubt it happens.

I haven't followed Noel enough to know if he has any game left.
