And what are you giving up in value for him?

I threw up a little in my mouth with the thought of Tyler Herro being anywhere near our team. What is with the Herro love affair?

Masai has tried to trade for him before and for good reason. There were 23 NBA players in 2022/23 that averaged 20+ ppg, 5+ rpg, 4+ apg and Herro was one of them, he's done it the past 2 years, is one of the best 3 pt and ft shooters in the league and is still only 23 with room to grow. Not everyone can be solid 2 ways players but players that can do what Herro can, don't grow in trees.

Solid offensive player for sure, but I'm not sure he is worth game planning for to hide on defence.

If the team commits to a development/rebuild getting rid of Siakam (and possibly OG for significant draft capital)
A year or two of all-vibes offense and poopoo defense might be fun.
Herro/Nowell
GTJ/Dick
Barnes/Robinson
OG
Poetl/Koloko

So he's Spencer Dinwiddle.... just younger. There's also nothing about his game that is going to improve all that much. He's lazy without the ball... that's a brain thing.

He’s an elite shooter that can also act as a secondary playmaker. Herro’s an ideal buy low candidate and would actually help balance the roster. Raptors fans massively underrate players that aren’t on our team.
