If the question is, 'who would be the worst GOAT candidate amongst the all-time great current GOAT potentials' than respectfully I would have to say Steph Curry as someone who has the resume + accolades + greatest range shooter ever as my pick. I don't have him in my top 10 overall but it's not annoying to me to hear others who try to put him in that range + what he could potentially still accomplish.

Lebron and kareem the more clear goat cases

That seems kinda crazy? Jordan was probably the best player ever on a per possession basis and had a noticeably higher peak than anybody else

“Noticeably”

Historically I would take Walton per possession if we want to play that game, but past that, I would not say Jordan had the best ~900-game per possession stretch, no.

LeBron
Jordan
Kareem - longevity including college
Wilt - statistical dominance
Russell - if you value winning and championships

Perhaps by certain box approaches. Otherwise no, he looks noticeably worse than Lebron and Russell and Kareem looks noticeably better if we adjust for lower srs-tresholds in 77 and 74. The cold data arguably favors Magic from his own era.

Him having a higher peak at all is pretty much a non-starter unless you pretend the best we've seen from russell or lebron didn't happen(which is close to the approach taken against those two here)
