The NBA is a players league honestly Portland's de-factor move is to give Dame what he wants. Miami likely will eventually cave and give the Blazers what they want even if its a tad inferior to what the raptors can offer.

Also for anyone not aware, BDE is a well known troll. He got caught in a lie once and admitted he’s not connected, he’s just having fun. I’m unsure why the mods don’t ban him. Maybe he knows one of them.

What video??

He did a live last night where someone asked him to tip his hat (not the word hat but whatever was on his head) if he’s going to be a Heatle by Oct 2 and he did.

I doubt a three-way is going to net the Blazers a player, it's more likely to be an expiring and a pick.

OG > Tyler but OG is not worth as much to the Blazers. PDX is going to try to soft tank for at least these next 2 years with Scoot to pair him up without another top lotto pick. OG makes that harder if anything. OG is also FA so they would have to pay up to keep him there. This wouldn't be too bad but they already have Grant on 5/150. or what if OG leaves anyways?

Miami late picks are valuable because Jimmy/Dame will be 37-38 by then. Potential of lotto picks when Scoot is 23 years old and coming into his own is what you want. Gives you a longer timeframe to build teams cause of cheap contract.

Edit: Masaii offered OG/Gradey/filler and probably one pick and a swap. Blazers will be trying to get more.

Most fans of other teams don't realize how involved he and his wife are in the Portland area. He lives there year-round and has said he will always live there, even in retirement. Based on everything I've seen Blazers fans say, he is telling the truth about that. This is not like the Kawhi situation where he wouldn't even meet with the Spurs. Yeah, the Blazers are upset at the way he went about this, but at the end of the day they will try their best to do right by him.

I'm sure Dame is also upset with how Portland went about things with him too. They told him repeatedly they were about winning when all their actions were to the contrary. Dame talked about that recently in an interview.

At some point you need to start winning again or you end up like the 2000's-2010's Kings, nearly 20 years without a playoff appearance.

They also already have Shaedan Sharpe.

And he's 100% right to be upset IMO. Many of us called it that Portland was never trading that #3 pick. Cronin lied the entire time about that.

I'd take Herro, for Boucher, Young and Flynn. Which works in the trade checker. Of course, Miami would also want a first round pick so they could flip that to Portland as well. And I'd probably toss it in.

I’m guessing Portland is having second thoughts and are trying Miami again after some leverage we gave them. Let’s see if Riley gives up the goods
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Grange has been pretty reliable as of late.

Also with the betting odds shifting heavily in Miami's favor today - it's looking more & more likely that Dame will be headed to South Beach.

If they put in as much effort in trading that #3 pick as they did with Dame, they wouldn't have been in this mess to begin with.

He's great if he's your PG. However, if you slide him over to SG or SF like Portland would want to do...he becomes negative fast.

He makes some sense for us, especially if Portland cuts Lowry. We could get them both for nothing.

Got a feeling Masai is either unwilling to part with Dick or one of the African brothers, Precious & Koloko.

Hence, why MIA is probably in the lead now for Dame.

This is a huge distinction. They want to take advantage of Miami fixing the market, and capitalize on Portland's frustration of that or Miami's own stubbornness.
Miami doesn't have anything else to give.

Masai actually wants Dame, which blows my mind if I'm being honest.

In a positive or negative way? I think Masai wins either way - if we strike out it shows we are still serious and willing to make a big move.

Agreed! I think he doesn’t want to give up Dick/Koloko. oG, Gary and precious would still be a great package. See who blinks first.

He doesn't need to give up Koloko, Precious, Dick.

If he can offer OG and GTJ, which with Thad match for salary purposes on Dame, and they can then offer a pick. GTJ & Nurkic can then be flipped by the Blazers to the Suns for Ayton.

I don’t think we ever offered OG actually
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Well he could be our PG, or our GTJ replacement if we can't extend him on a team friendly deal.
