The NBA is a players league honestly Portland's de-factor move is to give Dame what he wants. Miami likely will eventually cave and give the Blazers what they want even if its a tad inferior to what the raptors can offer.

I don't think the Heat can match the Raptors' offer. From what I've heard the Blazers want an established player in return in addition to picks/prospects. The Raptors have Anunoby. The Heat don't have anyone since they're not trading Martin and the Blazers aren't interested in Hero. I doubt a three-way is going to net the Blazers a player, it's more likely to be an expiring and a pick.

OG > Tyler but OG is not worth as much to the Blazers. PDX is going to try to soft tank for at least these next 2 years with Scoot to pair him up without another top lotto pick. OG makes that harder if anything. OG is also FA so they would have to pay up to keep him there. This wouldn't be too bad but they already have Grant on 5/150. or what if OG leaves anyways?

Miami late picks are valuable because Jimmy/Dame will be 37-38 by then. Potential of lotto picks when Scoot is 23 years old and coming into his own is what you want. Gives you a longer timeframe to build teams cause of cheap contract.

Edit: Masaii offered OG/Gradey/filler and probably one pick and a swap. Blazers will be trying to get more.

Based on everything I've seen Blazers fans say, he is telling the truth about that. This is not like the Kawhi situation where he wouldn't even meet with the Spurs. Yeah, the Blazers are upset at the way he went about this, but at the end of the day they will try their best to do right by him.

At some point you need to start winning again or you end up like the 2000's-2010's Kings, nearly 20 years without a playoff appearance.

I'd take Herro, for Boucher, Young and Flynn. Which works in the trade checker. Of course, Miami would also want a first round pick so they could flip that to Portland as well. And I'd probably toss it in.

If they put in as much effort in trading that #3 pick as they did with Dame, they wouldn't have been in this mess to begin with.

Riley doesn't have time to wait. He looks like he lost his grandkids in a public park these days. The league/Vegas anticipate his bluff will be called and he will increase his offer to Portland, which Portland is holding out for. The Raptors appear to have an interest in the market for Dame. This is a huge distinction. They want to take advantage of Miami fixing the market, and capitalize on Portland's frustration of that or Miami's own stubbornness.

Miami doesn't have anything else to give.

If he can offer OG and GTJ, which with Thad match for salary purposes on Dame, and they can then offer a pick. GTJ & Nurkic can then be flipped by the Blazers to the Suns for Ayton.
