It's pretty sad when Milwaukee is a destination place over Boston.
I'm flabbergasted at how these teams continue to get talent for nothing.

If the Celtics had the assets Dame would have easily been a Celtic.
The Blazers probably could get better value for Jrue and Ayton then they could get for Dame, and multiple teams will be lining up to trade for Holiday.

Is there anyway realistically we could get Jrue without giving up White?

Man that sucks. Holiday is a good player but Dame is a huge upgrade and fills a major hole with the Bucks shooting.
Bucks are clearly the best team in the east.

Y’all are forgetting Middleton is washed. This is a big 2, not a big 3.

And next June we'll be giving up Brown as another season founders out and get third of the return.

I actually don't think this Bucks team is that good. Their defense will be completely mid, and I their core is a year older. They will win a lot of regular season games and flame out in the 2nd or 3rd round as always.

Probably true but still remains to be seen. Holiday is a great defender and Lillard is a year older and never gets out of first round anymore. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen him perform late in playoffs.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Maybe but from what we’ve seen these “supermax” contracts don’t net much in return.

I feel like this is a move for them to show Giannis that they are committed to putting a championship team around him but I'm not sure it translates to them being that much better. Maybe I just really like Jrue though, he is a defensive beast.

I share the same opinion on Jrue.

That's what I'm saying. Scoring was never their problem and they just took a dive on defense where they have gotten worse every year. Add to that another year older Middleton and Brook? Yeah I'm not sold.
I also think people underestimate how huge of a get Zinger was for our team

Brown is still relatively young so hopefully that nets you a little more in return. The Corey's wrote:WeLikeOurGuys wrote:The Corey's wrote:

**** Miami, so, I'm happy about that part. I bet they go for Jrue at this point. Wouldn't mind seeing us go for Jrue, too.

A bit of irony if Miami claims to have this great package all summer (that's what she said) for Dame and ends up having to pay the same just to get Jrue instead.

Portland reportedly will move on from Jrue. Would love to land him somehow.

true on paper but only if they stay healthy. kinda like us. the healthy team at the end of the year nabs the chip.
