Not really. I think there is an incredible middle class in the NBA presently and teams like Indiana, Orlando, OKC, Utah and others with more substantial assets will trump Toronto. These teams have budding superstars and are just waiting to pounce in a year or two.
Not to mention Masai and Bobby just wasting other team's time. We just aren't players, and I have said it for years, the Kawhi trade was a fluke mainly based on RC Buford spiting Kawhi and sending him to the place he least wanted to go to.
Toronto needs to have Scottie really take a step this year otherwise we have to build through the draft. That is just about the only thing we do well historically.
