We are discussing RUMOURS, and potential POSSIBILITIES, how is this so difficult for people to understand.

Dude asked if a pick was available, I linked a rumour saying it was. What do you expect, words directly from Masais mouth? Get a grip.

Was the 2029 first available for FVV?
Scase wrote:Yes, yes it was.

Do you have proof?

That's a rumour, not evidence
Scase wrote:We are discussing RUMOURS, and potential POSSIBILITIES

We were? You asserted the pick was offered.
Scase wrote:Get a grip.

Are you slow? Prove that it wasn't offered.

A rumour suggested it was period. That has more weight than absence stating it wasn't. Unless you have some NBA insider knowledge you would like to share with the class?

Literally EVERYTHING besides confirmed trades are rumours. As I stated before, if people have issues discussing rumours, you should probably go elsewhere.

Umm if you are going to complain and try and use an article as evidence it is you that has to do the proving.

My whole point was complaining that the FO sucks and then using rumors as evidence of a mistake being made is just... weird.

Discussing rumors is fun. Using rumors as sort of judgment on the FO is just strange frankly. ForeverTFC completely called you out on your **** and now the goalposts move. Shocking.

Good for Giannis man. Put pressure on the FO to do something instead of bolting.

I'm pleased it didn't happen given that every move they've made thus far points to a rebuilding approach. Don't screw it up now!

Good, Masai hasn’t lost his mind like a lot on this board. He knows going all in on a rebuilding team like ours is shortsighted.

You know what was a good move on a rebuilding team? Trading a top-6 protected pick for Jakob Poeltl

Ya I don't get it. Dame gets to play with Giannis and his brother is trashing the Portland front office? Why even mention that Toronto had a better offer? Did Dame prefer Toronto over Milwaukee? This is so weird.

He prefers living in Miami then Milwaukee and probably feels like he could've won a championship there regardless
plus he's good friends with their core and apparently grew up a Miami Heat fan and buys into that Heat Culture crap.

He's a Miami fanboy like most players are Lakers fanboys

Or letting Fred go for nothing. They have made their mistakes but now it’s time to correct course.

lol POR totally sent him wherever thats not the heat, for a lesser package than the raptors. Pretty sure it wasnt his choice if his cousin is trash talking them.

The risk of giannis leaving is also there if they dont perform very well.

Too bad we didnt get him, but they were trying to play us, so Masai was also poking them with pressure. Good.

In two years we'll be reluctant to part with Dick for Luka...

We really did catch lightning in a bottle with the Kawhi situation.

Fast forward 2 years. Are we in a better situation now than we were in 2021?

I don’t see how Raptors could have topped the offer

Blazers control Bucks picks when Giannis will be 34/35/36 and Lillard will likely be retired.

Portland likes Ayton.

Plus whatever they get for Holiday.

If Blazers prioritized future picks more than players, I don’t see how Toronto could compete.

I dont need this rumour to prove the FO sucks.

Also if you managed a reading comprehension level above kindergarten, maybe you would've picked up on the part where I said I'm HAPPY we didn't trade for Dame.

Not trading FVV for that deal worked out in this regard, man try and keep up.

Ain't nobody in the front office is going to feel pressured from a dude who's never averaged more than 25 in a playoff series.

makes them favorites in the east the next 2-3 years which is why they do this deal.

those 28/29/30 picks could be pretty good for portland as dame will be done and giannis may not be there.

Giannis be 34/36/36

They really listen to giannis and mortgage the future

You have to respect them for going for it

Return to Toronto Raptors
