Watching Heat fans on Twitter do mental gymnastics to make sense of what just happened after their arrogance all summer is my Banner 18. Okay, fine, maybe Banner 17.5.

If I’m Boston right now I’m calling Portland and asking “how many first-round picks do we need to add to Malcolm Brogdon and Al Horford to get Jrue Holiday.” He’s entirely gettable for them now. Imagine closing with Holiday-White-Brown-Tatum-Porzingis.

I wouldn't do it. I would look to get into this as a 3rd team depending on what players are coming back to Portland for Holiday's $37 million contract.

I'm iffy on Jrue Holiday. If Brad feels like it's the right move, I trust him. If not, I still do.

I don't love giving up Rob or Al for him when KP is a health risk

Not really.

The Bucks were already having defensive issues with Jrue, even if Jrue is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA.

Now with Dame, the Bucks have gotten worse on the defensive end.

I dont at all like the idea of moving Al, but if we did, who would be a cheap C option either via trade or FA to replace him as 3rd big in the depth chart? Or do the blazers have a cheap big they can send back?

I wouldn't move Horford. I would move Brogdon plus if something came along that was better. Like i said earlier, I don't think the Celtics consider any big moves until the mid-season trade deadline.

Losing both Brogdon and Horford along with picks for Jrue holiday would be such a bad move lol

We need all the depth for the big man position. Need Horford against players like Giannis and embiid and potentially Jokic if we ever get there. Brogdon is not a throw away player either, he can still get buckets and was big in that Sixers series up until his injury.

Celtics would have to give up Brogs, Al, and PP for Jrue to make salaries match.

That's a lot of depth the Celts would have to sacrifice.

Not worth it, not to mention the draft picks.

Getting rid of that scrub Grayson Allen might be the best part of the deal for the Bucks lol

Lillard has never played with a player like Giannis. And vice versa. They will be tough to guard. Stotts (Bucks assistant) has always been a good coach on offense even if Griffin is unproven.
