Was worried we'd never see Giannis play with a legit guard. What a **** day

Now all we need is the Packers to beat the Lions tomorrow and this is one hell of a Wisconsin sports week.

Did he though? I don't read every post but I thought he basically threw cold water on other people talking about the idea.

But also, how off-base do people look with all the bitching about our owners being cheap. There was very little evidence to show we were in total cost-savings mode except for not signing PJ which looks like more and more like it was they (probably bud) didn't want a aging, non-scoring 6'5" PF back on a long contract. It turned out to be an idiotic move but I don't think it was really ever about the money but more the player/age.

Also, details came out that they told PJ they would re-sign him but wanted him to have others set the market. He was upset by that and left. So it wasn't cheaping out, just poor negotiating.

So does this Dame guy space the floor to help open things up for Giannis down low?

  I can’t even get mad if this is true, them not signing a holiday brother was probably a sign Jrue wasn’t in the future plans. The team loves signing family members.

I think Horst did a good job on the value he gave up here, keeping MarJon, AJJ, & the Portland Pick are all good work by him. That said it feels like in 3-4 years when we are judging this trade it'll either look amazing or awful with little in between

IMO, if you like the trade today, there's no changing your mind 3-4 years down the road if it doesn't work out how you want it to.

Trades are constantly judged in hindsight. Everyone blasted Indiana for trading Paul George for Oladipo & Sabonis but turns out that was a great trade. Everyone loved Brooklyn trading for Harden but that was an awful trade. You can absolutely judge a trade based on the actual results of it
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

We have one open spot? We could do with a defensive guard

Nope, more of the Consigliere to the new Don. Fortunately, the Conigliere has a great and mutually relationship with new hit man.

Think its payne geard the bucks wanted him weeks ago just had to clear a roster spot.Imagine how many ring chasing vets would jump on the bucks bandwagon now if we had any open spots
