Dame has been a cornerstone of my keeper league for years and I'm stoked to see him play.

But I'm crushed that it cost Jrue. Jrue was an absolute class act and was the best perimeter defender I have ever seen day in and day out. His impact on the game was just awesome. He was one of my all time Bucks and will be sorely missed.

Jrue was a badass. Sad that he won't finish his career with us.

I def think there connection between that article saying Jrue was retiring and getting traded, that was the main tripping point a lot of people had about trading for him.

Jrue to Boston would be worse. And is more plausible.

they would have to move brogdon, horford and PP and then next year they get crushed by the salary cap.

Brogdon already asked out. Horford is getting old. You see the Bucks got Dame. Charles Lee will vouch for Jrue. Think its a no brainer, figure out the cap year two, if he even opts in.

You mean KP? Maybe not then. After all they dealt for him just now but after plantar fascitis & his injury history, I would.

But why would Portland want that package?

Genuinely sad about and for Jrue. It’s rare to see a player of his caliber impact a franchise and fall in love with Milwaukee in the way that he did. I know that we are all excited, and for good reason…but there’s a real part of me that feels mad for him. It’s tough to have your (maybe misplaced) sense of loyalty used against you in any context. To know that the Bucks and Giannis, a brother and a friend, chose for you to be the one traded must hurt in very real ways.

I must admit.

This is like breaking up with a very close longterm girlfriend in order to date Halle Berry.

It's tough, but you have to do it if given the chance.

"Bucks Legend" gets thrown around too much *cough* Daniel Santiago *cough* but Jrue truly is a Bucks Legend. Nothing but the best of wishes for the guy.

When you call KD the best in the world & Giannis is your teammate, you're liable to get dumped. (/green)

I don't know that there was a real choice. The choice is Jrue or Dame. There's nobody else we could have moved for him.

Talked to a buddy who is neighbors with the Holidays. Said Lauren was really sad about leaving. They’re a class act and will be missed. It’s the nature of the business and I often forget there are real people on the other side.

Good luck to them wherever they land. Jrue will always be one of my favorite Bucks.

Yeah. Can't be understated that the community suffered a major loss today. They did so much good for Milwaukee and really embraced the city.

Valley Oop will live forever in Bucks lore.

Jrue is one of my favourite Bucks in the relatively small timeframe I've been following this team.

It's not a shock we went from bedwetters to champions in the first year we brought him in. The guy has his warts but is a winner above all else. Good luck Jrue, and I really hope you don't end up on the Celts or Heat :D
