Jrue Holiday is talked about as the most underrated player in the league but on the day he gets traded for Damian freaking Lillard there are people in the media who don't really think we upgraded much. Kinda bonkers.

Dude called the exact trade package as well lol.

ontop of that Giannis saying he might leave made the Bucks future picks look enticing, aswell as making the heat pause in going all in thinking they might have a shot at giannis

If Giannis & Dame did that...

Oh well, gonna be super exciting and screw Miami. At least we have that.

How could they possibly have done this with Midds instead? He was a free agent, so they had to re-sign him or lose him for nothing and lose the salary slot. Once he was re-signed, they can't trade him for six months. The Blazers wanted Dame traded before this Friday when they have Media Day.

There is no possible realistic scenario where Midds is moved instead.

Plus Midds is 1000x better than Jrue in the playoffs. Midds has 40 point finals games. Offense is way more important than defense in the current NBA. This isn't the 90s.

Strongly agree that offense is much more important than defense.

We have got ajj, mjb and especially jae to play defense.

Sir Charles:

“You give me Giannis and Dame, I’ll take my chances against anybody," the 1993 MVP said in an appearance on NBA TV.

"It is fair to say that the Milwaukee Bucks are the favorite going into the season to win an NBA championship."

Deal doesn't get done with Khris. Jrue is better received around the league and from a longevity perspective, Jrue>Khris and GMs know this.

Last year is P.O.

That's why Horst wanted him so bad.

Again it's 3 years plus the p.o.

Edit: and the p.o. is for $60MM+ and he'll be 36. It's a 4 year deal essentially.

Maybe a tad late but just want to wish yall the best. Milwaukee and Giannis are my favorite east coast team/player and I have wanted to see Lillard and Giannis paired (in Portland! haha) for a long long time.

Rooting for ya to win it all this year.

Yeah after we traded for Jrue there was a lot of the same talk about how we hardly upgraded.

Can Giannis extend to match Dames remaining contract? I do wonder if the tampering Butler is referring to is Giannis coming out with his stuff and keeping Miami and Toronto from going all in with their offers. Tip of the cap if that was the plan.

TBH I can't imagine Butler was serious about tampering. Seems like trolling. How would we "tamper" on this trade?
