Man I was all in on that Butler timeline. Could have been fun. Can't complain now though.

I was against getting Butler at that time and pretty much always. But have accepted I was probably wrong as his game has held on this long and he's proven time and again the stones he has. If you could know he would re-sign and generally had the same health he's had the last several years one would think they'd have more than 1 title by now. But of course you just never know the butterfly effect. I wouldn't have liked rooting for him, seems like an ahole but he can play.

Without Khris going full Khobe mode in ‘21, we don’t win the championship. He’s a better overall player, but no guarantee that Jimmy would have been able to hit all those same shots.

Zero “what-ifs” I would change about these last 5-years. We’ve won a championship and a **** ton of regular season games. Now we’re sitting here with the realistic potential for a mini 2-3 year dynasty. This is the dream, Bucks fans. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Is there ring chasing defensive minded wing we can go after now? We've kinda gone from a defensive juggernaut with shaky offence to the opposite overnight.

Would like us to get someone who we can confidently put on guys like Tatum, Brown and Jimmy to get stops.

Wonder if Nunn is a decent gamble as a backup PG as he'll be another year removed from his ridiculous bone bruise that took a whole season.

Giannis. Maybe we have a coach who actually uses him the way he should have been.

The Bucks have two All-NBA defensive guys in the starting rotation. There's no reason they shouldn't be top ten on that end.

lol not really

swapping jrue for dame does hurt the defense but that doesn't make us a poor defensive team overall. it improves the offense more than it hurts the defense

Don't want to say they can't do it but Giannis and Crowder aren't really guys we should want out defending the elite forwards of the world for 35 minutes a night. Was a problem with Jrue and it's an even bigger problem now. Need to find some guys there for sure.

If Boston wants to counter Dame/Giannis 2 man game with ISOs, I like our odds.

We definitely have more offensive fire power now to help negate weaknesses defensively.

To be fair, I like our odds no matter what Boston does.

Yep and to land Jrue the least talent they could give up to match salaries would be Brogdon+Horford+Prichard and a 1st or two.

I doubt the Blazers would do that unless they think Brogdon and Horford would be good mentors for the young guys.

More likely the Blazers would ask for more.

What’s amazing is that it looks like Horst built that roster under the assumption that he will get Lillard. I mean Bucks always had backup PGs for Holiday (Teague, Hill, Carter etc). Doing that for three years on a row and not bothering this offseason getting a PG at all looked weird in the first place.

Now it makes sense. Dame will need the ball in his hands. Midds and Giannis maybe had the ball a bit more than they should in the Jrue era, but you can’t/shouldn’t get the ball out of their hands. Having Midds and Giannis as “backup PGs” solves a lot of issues within this team.

Lillard (36)/Giannis (6)/Midds (6)
Pat (30)/Beasley (18)
Midds (30)/Marjon (12)/Crowder (6)
Giannis (30)/Bobby (12)/Crowder (6)
Lopez (30)/Bobby (18)

Love it.
