Jrue is in my top 5 favorite Bucks of all time. I can't wait to give him a standing ovation when he is back.

The Valley oop is the loudest I have ever reacted to anything in sports, and he was the catalyst.

But you had to make this move.

He will continue to be a great player and a great ambassador for wherever he plays next.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Above all he seems like a great person and great role model. All the best Jrue, don't go to Miami now.

I will forever be a Jrue fan, and still, this deal had to be done. I can't wait to cheer him as loudly as possible. No matter what team he returns to Milwaukee with.

Jrue could actually be what gets this team TWO championships.

#1 as the missing piece in 2021
#2 the main piece to bring dame and get another chip 23/24.

I love Jrue. My favorite buck.

There are SO MANY CLUTCH plays by Jrue, not just the Valley oop which is the most ICONIC of all time, but throughout the 2021 playoffs and other times in his career here. Especially in 2021 he would forget how to shoot the ENTIRE game, then less than 4 minutes to go FINALLY he would hit some absolute clutch shots. Mainly I remember brooklyn series I thought we were dead and Jrue out of nowhere hits a bucket to keep us alive.

I can't even recall them all now, all I know, is JRUE hit some huge clutch shots to get us that chip.

I know if became a joke after a while....Jrue can't shoot until 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

He's such an incredible teammate and his smile is infectious. Literally one of my favorite all time Bucks. His forever a Bucks legend. In my fav. all time bucks he's up there side by side with Ray Allen for me. That's how big of an impact he's been for me. I love Jrue so much. Always will.

Anyone remember this game 3 winner? We don't even get to the ECF without beating brooklyn.

Jrue's brooklyn highlight series. Start at 1:52 to move past games 1 and 2.

Check out 4:14 Jrue to Giannis with a KD nutmeg special for a dunk.

And the last play is one of the greatest Jrue holiday shots of all time.

Forever grateful for his 2021 championship performance. I wished and thought he had more to give but he was mentally drained after the ring. Happy he is one of the pieces to get Dame, but can't forget his "retiring comments" plummeting his trade value. Loved his D, hated his contract after year 2 failure. I hope he stays to the West Conference.

Jrue would be an incredible fit with the Clippers or Warriors.

He'd be great with the Sixers, Celtics or Heat too. And it's not in the Bucks' interest to hope for this.

But could see him having a serious catalyzing effect as a backcourt Draymond in Golden State or as the do-everything unselfish F-load management garbage man for LAC.

When he was efficient and scoring more than 20 ppg while playing his elite defense we looked like a proper superteam. He was a clear all star level player in moments like those. It became clear that he couldn't be the 2nd best player while playing his level of defense though. There was no doubt about that. Close to 40% TS in 40 playoff games is terrible. Whoever lands him as the 3rd option will be extremely lucky though.

Am I the only one who thinks Portland has a nice squad if Jrue stays? Could be a fun 3 guard lineup.

Scoot
Jrue
Simons
Grant
Ayton

You won't find a better mentor for Scoot than Jrue. Obviously it's not happening because: assets, I get it.

I'll always remember Jrue as a player with stones the size of the Great Lakes. Exhibit A: The Lob Exhibit B+: All those games he'd be shooting 3-12, but then calmly drop the dagger shot. 100% stone cold.

Portland might want to go with Scott / Simons / Sharpe in the backcourt out of the gate. But if Sharpe or Holiday could handle playing enough SF then Jrue could be a great developmental bridge.

Trail Blazers then can take time for the Jrue market to develop as long as up until the deadline.

Worked well for OKC and Chris Paul a few years ago, but Holiday doesn’t need to resuscitate his trade value in the same way CP3 did then.

Plenty have rightly called the Valley Oop the greatest play in Bucks history and you're all right. HOWEVAH, I'd argue it's on the short list of greatest Finals plays EVAH. Deserves to be in the mix along with:

The Denim King brushing Bryon Russell off his shoulder FTW
Erv Johnson's baby hook
The Good Doctor serving up the Most Injured Man in the History of Sports
LBJ's chase down
Darko busts his paw

The best of all time? Maybe. It do be dynamic and dramatic.

The absolute nads to throw a lob in that situation. The mind reels.
