First of all, no. But Khris was an unrestricted free agent just signed to a new contract and can’t be traded for months.

Don't think the organization has ever seriously been close to moving Khris, despite the wishes of so many of his detractors on this board over the years. You can't dismiss the Giannis connection in this. Not because that he dislikes Jrue or anything, but because he's been fiercely loyal to Khris when looking at all the anecdotal evidence (public comments, Finals MVP speech, Khris being at both new coaching hire dinners, etc.). This is why a lot of us said that trading Middleton would be the easiest way to get Giannis to have one foot out the door. We can only hope that both guys retire as Bucks and be this generation's Duncan and Ginobli.

JRUE-inned.

The guy that he's sourcing said that the Heat, Bulls, Philly, Boston and the LA teams were of interest to him.

Hoping OKC can be a darkhorse for him and swoop in to nab him. He'd be the perfect compliment to Shai, they probably want to take the next step and he would help, and they have too many picks to use for themselves, so might as well package some to help yourself now.

Also for basketball reasons. Khris is the perfect 16 game player. He can create his own offense, scores clutch buckets, has a great mid-range game, can run pick and roll actions with Giannis. He’s way more valuable in the playoffs than Jrue, and I love what Jrue brings to the table.

You want conspiratorial? On Bill Simmons' pod Ben Thompson brought up the idea fomented by "Bucks message boards" that Dame intentionally used the Heat to tank his trade value in collusion with Giannis to get him to Milwaukee.

Khris n Giannis have been together for a decade now. Many failures along the way to winning a chip, cementing them as one of the best nba duos in recent years.

Your reminder that a poster here said two weeks ago that the Giannis "I may want out" thing was all a ruse by he and Horst. And a week later, Dame is here. I don't think that was a coincidence.

Horst cooking up a ruse to bring Dame here after; Giannis league sanctioned tampered by taking Dame first in the All Star game draft, is how the trade will forever go down for me.

I don't know who said it, but that's pretty much my perspective. And I actually thought it was pretty obvious. I didn't expect it to work.

Lillard using the Heat that way isn’t a conspiracy theory. That’s playing 8 dimensional chess on Pat Riley’s balls.
