I’d be more skeptical about covering his shooting if we didn’t pick up Beasley and that Lillard guy.

More broadly I’d be cool if we keep that roster spot open for now if the idea is to give the young guys more run.

If Cam Payne isn’t really the answer giving him a guaranteed deal could hurt us if / when someone better comes available.

Cam Payne seemed to make more sense with Jrue on the roster, I would agree that at this point waiting to see what shakes loose after other teams rosters are finalized makes more sense. Let the young guys get some experience, their development will also go a long way for a Giannis extension.

I'd be playing AJr a whole lot this season and take the lumps. Him being a 16 win player next spring elevates the roster in a big way.

Just shuffle all the young wings in the starting 2 spot every 5 games.

Wish we had 2 open roster spots and didn’t give Livingston a bunch of guaranteed money and years. Cam Payne for one and Hamidou Diallo for the other.

Dame/Payne/AJJ
Pat/Beasley/Green
Khris/Marjon/Diallo
Giannis/Jae/Thanasis
Brook/Bobby/Robin

Idk. Rich Paul seemed pretty serious about steering his clients to the Bucks even though it involved pressuring other teams not to pick them higher (costing him and his clients more guaranteed money).

And even if MarJon or Livingston don't work out...Bucks could have worse agents to do favors for than Rich Paul.

Livingston isn't the problem. Robin is the problem.

Yeah, there is absolutely no reason Robin Lopez should be on the roster.

Do not think I would do this, it is tempting but Dort's shooting makes it tough to play him with Giannis.

Bucks in: Dort, Poku
Bucks out: Bobby, Pat

Poku is out for the first 6 weeks so a great reason to have Robin on the team

Lillard | Jackson Jr | Washington (2way)
Dort | Beasley | Green | Moore (2way)
Middleton | Beauchamp | Livingston
Giannis | Crowder | Thanasis
Lopez | Poku | Lopez

Robin plays even less that the other cheerleader on the roster. Not really sure we needed to waste another roster spot on a guy who won't play. Especially when there are multiple inexperienced/unproven dudes on the bench.

Robin is insurance in case Brook is hurt and they have to face Embiid. He’s there to foul Embiid six times. That’s it.

When Brook goes back to averaging 10 points/4 rebounds while shooting 32% from 3 it'll look pretty stupid.

Anyone can commit a foul, and Robin has been wretched defending Embiid. Using any slow center to defend Embiid has been a disaster.

Middleton looks pretty stupid re-signing without the assurances of a family member also being signed.

Only the first two years of Livingston’s deal are gtd. Cam is a streaky player on offense and not a good defender. Diallo couldn’t make Detroits roster. IF Atlanta, OKC, or the Spurs don’t give us one of their gtd contracts or cut them for us to sign for minimum I’d elevate whoever has the best camp of TyTy, Gortman, or Wigginton.

We traded him at the deadline the last time that we signed him, wouldn’t be surprise me if we did it again. In the meantime he knows Stotts offense so he will be a good mentor in camp

I don’t know if that was why Brook came back, the first stint with both twins Brook looked to be pressing with the competition of Robin behind him and he always likes to dig at him (and Vice versa). I think they tolerate each other but not sure if it always helps chemistry. It’s entertaining, I’ll give you that.
