You're projecting. I'm not completely ignoring anything let alone chunks of games. With that being said, you bet your ass I'm going to weight certain games more than others and how they apply to realistic scenarios moving forward. For example, the Bears look like they may be historically bad. And given that game is the primary feather in Love's cap right now, doesn't it make sense to view that with a grain of salt?

I want Love to look like a natural NFL QB, and he just looks a bit mechanical. Good NFL QBs can go off script. Love struggles there. Last night in particular, ESPECIALLY early on, he held onto the ball WAY too long but you've got folks here just blaming it all on the O-Line. The first three and out after the pick was an utter disaster and he took that sack, NOT the O-Line. Or that little flip on the check down last night after he held onto the ball too long is just a "what the **** are you doing" thing and it's happened a few times. That to me says something is off between the ears, that scripting is necessary, and when you couple that with the inaccuracy, I don't think it bodes well.

I had expectations for him after last year's Philly game. He doesn't look like the guy who played in that contest.

We are just going to have to agree to disagree on this one

I just cannot believe a QB with only 5 starts under his belt looks erratic at times and flashes at times while all three of his best offensive lineman are not playing, his all-pro RB missed 2 games and barely played due to a snap count and **** coaching in another, all while captaining the youngest team in the NFL since the 0-16 Browns.

For a first year starter with virtually NO RUNNING GAME, a slew of injuries along the offensive line, WR, and TE, and an extremely inexperienced group of receivers, Jordan Love has looked PRETTY GOOD.

The bigger concern is that the defense, especially the run defense, and the offensive line, especially the interior of the offensive line, have NOT been close to PRETTY GOOD.

I have to admit, that when I see stuff like that, I question PFF's methodology. Love certainly rallied in the second half, but calculating that as his best performance?

Yep, doesn't make sense. Jordan had some really good plays, hitting guys with a rusher in his face. He also had a lot of bad ones. no way was this was his best game.
His QBR for the game was 7.0. Now I don't think QBR is well done either but he wasn't good. Hopefully he learns from the game though.

Every week Andy Herman has a pff guy on his podcast to go over different things and they often discuss why Love's grade is where it is so I'll be curious to listen to this one and find out why he got this grade.

Rough day for Jordan. Basically sacked himself twice by not throwing open slants.

All it accomplishes is making PFF grades sound ridiculous.

Time to start scouting draft eligible QB. Wish it wasn’t the case.

It seems no one can help me now
I'm in too deep, there's no way out
This time I have really led myself astray
Runaway train, never coming back
Wrong way on a one-way track
Seems like I should be getting somewhere
Somehow I'm neither here nor there

I'm starting to have major doubts about Gutey's QB evaluations. He liked Kizer, had some infatuation with Drew Lock and now Jordan is looking a bit shaky. I'm still going to give Love the year to work out the kinks etc. but like some others have said, I'm starting to lean toward the "uh oh" side.

Someone needs to show me how to do a signature, cause there’s some quote worthy stuff here.

Love has been incredible considering what he’s working with. No one outside of Green Bay know who Doubs, Reed and Tae Wicks are.
