I was watching every game thinking "put someone like Crowder in there and let him absorb fouls, Jimmy is going to torch whoever they put on him. Let Holliday shot down Vincent, be a beastly help defender, and save his energy for offense.

there is no scenario where Jrue is a better fit then dame. and its not even ever close

Giannis should've been there. Terrible team player.

One thing I like is Giannis can spend more energy guarding the other team's #1 or (or whoever the hottest player is on the other team) player defensively, and save energy on offense at times while Dame takes over.

Giannis is going to have to learn to accommodate Dame's ego. He hasn't had to deal with something like that probably since Jabari. Obviously, this situation is easier because Dame's opinion of himself is much more in line with reality. But there could be some rough patches if Giannis is taking a bad fall away jumper at the buzzer and Dame is standing there.

Can't say I'm thrilled about reading that Dame asked to rescind the trade request when he found out Miami wasn't happening. Also not a great look that Portland asked for Jimmy or Bam... Time for Dame to walk the walk about all the championship talk.

Definitely feels like a rough start.

It takes so little effort to smile.

Yep, there are conflicting reports about how this went down. I am not paying any mind to it.

Giannis and Dame have been talking about each other for years. It's going to be fine, guys.

Also guess who’d be hungrier in a playoff situation given their situations? I would expect Dame no doubt.

He didn't try to walk back the trade when he heard he might go to Milwaukee. He walked it back, was told no, then said he would accept going to the Bucks since Miami wasn't likely. I don't see anything wrong with that.

A) I said might because they did win a championship with Holliday. He is a proven fit.

B) I never imagined in my lifetime the Bucks would have an elite player. Even crazier is the notion of adding another elite player. So forgive me if I can't even imagine what this looks like.

It’s like a Joe Alexander or Yi workout. Hours of nothing happening, but now the Bucks have compressed that 30 seconds into a twitter video that makes it look like the Apollo 11 astronauts getting their NYC ticker tape parade.

I love it. The actual time that it took Dame to walk from the car to the arena has been stretched to make it look like he's just done the Iditarod.

Did you really think they were going to pull something amazing off on like two days notice? If people are dumb enough to fall for it, that's on them.
