On the other hand he is on his rookie deal which is super cheap and he hasn't been in the league very long and since he has a team option next season the Suns might as well take a closer look at him to see if he's any good.

Is he really getting cut? I thought he had potential to be at least a decent backup but has always been on teams with too many guards. Ok as I typed that I can see his luck has not improved.

I’m getting a feeling he’s not going to be cut before training camp.. if not why hasn’t it happened yet? I am guessing either a trade being reviewed to dump him, or Suns going to wait for training camp and see if he earns a spot.

Yeah, it’s needed to pay him $2.8M so why not wait after training camp? We can carry 20 players and then make the official decision.

He isn’t.

Health issues and cannot shoot, pass, handle or defend.

The Portland org seems to have dumped all their oft injured players on us.

With 2 often injured starters in Beal and KD it could be a rough season if half our roster is constantly out with various ailments.

I like Nurk. Terrific screener, can pass a bit but forces it sometimes.

At his best he gets into the other teams head a bit and can be an effective rebounder and defensive presence.

At his worst can be on the bench in street clothes.

Little and Johnson are ham and eggers. They will tease with athletic play but ultimately disappoint. Send them on their way for more reliable assets.
