Wish he was a better shooter from deep. Seems inconsistent from season to season, both in the regular and in the playoffs.

Trade Marjon for TPE and a few seconds. Go sign Bullock

How is Payne defensively? Honestly haven’t watched him much outside the finals and he wasn’t the main focus haha

A Carter type defender as far as size and speed. So maybe used on Maxy but all the other top guards are much bigger than him.

Payne's season was derailed by injuries so hopefully that's in the past. He's a perfect backup when he's healthy and engaged.

Skinny, defends with his hands and quickness instead of his feet and chest. He will either get the steal or whiff and chase.

Why is the perfect backup? Size? No. Great outside shooting? Not really (inconsistent). I don't see it.

He's been inconsistent because of his injuries. He can run an offense and shoot but he's like Middleton when coming back and takes forever to get back into the swing of things.

Suns were always better with Payne over CP3. However, that was more because of how dreadful CP3 has become. Payne is fast, but has shot poorly inside the arc.

He's better than Jevon Carter, so there's that.

We all know it that if we still had Bud it would have been George Hill instead.... again.

Great and necessary signing.

Don't need him to shoot. Give us 15-20 minutes and an occasional start when Dame rests.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He’s a worse defender and shooter, but better handles and can run a PnR. Quicker
