I get the angst. I feel it some, too. But I don’t think public speaking needs to be a harbinger of things to come in a different capacity. He’s nervous speaking in public. I think he mentioned this when he was first got introduced as the coach, too.

Mr. “Hit the ground like a rocket ship” has sure turned out pretty well.

Yeah, I think it is mostly nerves. He's nervous, I'm nervous. Would love to hear him speak to the team.

Jon Horst has gotten better as an orator over the years. He just pulled this deal off, that he's worked toward generating for years. Its not going to tell us anything. Let the season speak to his abilities.

Hope he's enjoying this, it won't be nice again until the championship parade in June

I like the defensive question for Dame, he seemed like he understands that it’s a different expectation but also he’s not jrue who he thinks is the best perimeter defender

Dame having the same calm cadence even when he said he is excited is very funny. Great answers on his end. Almost felt like he didn't see the ability to be traded to Milwaukee (maybe based on our assets), and gave the go ahead 2 weeks ago after his agent thought there might be a shot.

I think Dame gets his own time because normally after a big trade like this there would be a press conference for just him (maybe with the coach/GM there). It made sense for media day to contain that press conference.

For sure, just expected Giannis would barge in at the end in Giannis fashion.

This would have actually been sick. I would have liked for them to answer some of those questions as a duo.

Giannis is signing that extension at the end of the year. He didn't want to leave the 80M on the table.

I can attest to this from the other side of it. I've been complimented about it enough that I think I can safely say that I'm a pretty good public speaker. But that doesn't mean that I'm inherently good or bad at anything beyond public speaking.

He’s always been really defined but kinda stringy unless he was flexing his biceps, but his arms are just huge now in a relaxed state.

Man Chris Haynes is asking questions like he knows some backroom collusion was happening with Dame and Giannis. His little giggle party with Dame when he asked a question was odd.
