I know the running joke is guys gained X#s over the summer but sometimes it is true. I remember talking to Ersan and he was saying he lost like 20 pounds over the season due to the amount of cardio and it looked true. I think when you have a guy like Giannis weight training all summer while monitored by trainers, at his size he could legit recover 1-2 pounds/mth of muscle over a summer at his age. Like he has had over 5 months to work on his body and with knee surgery it was probably a lot of core and upper body compared to end of season where he wore down his muscles from extreme cardio.
