Trouble in paradise. Lowry clearly does not look happy

Naw, body language says otherwise. Hand on the shoulder is comfort and support. Don’t really think there is a problem.

Good news is that Lowry looks like he came into camp in shape!!!

What if Lowry can give this team a good solid year, we keep him past the deadline, and then resign him for the vet min next year? Would that be all that bad? I would not be against Lowry earning that starting role back if he truly earns it.

Me personally it looks like he's having a disagreement with someone and Riley is trying to calm him down then Lowry's chit body language as he walks away is clearly present.

Man we just have horrible guard play in a league that is heavily reliant on it.

Harden doesn't give a great chance to compete, and he's about to drop off a cliff if he hasn't already.

Rather save the assets and roll the dice on Mitchell in a year. (he'll get traded once he doesn't extend, he's an expiring after next year)

Harden’s one of our best chances, if not best, to get in a position to compete. With Jimmy on that same cliff— it’s about priorities

Not that simple tho— matters if the FO, Phillies FO would even want to play ball

The Mindset is like this, what's currently out here does not get you a championship. Clearly it just has you lose out on depth, player continuity, expiring's and assets for just a slight improvement. That ultimately doesn't tilt the odds with the margins that they would like.

Instead you keep your assets wait for a big swing that really gets you better tittle odds or stay competitive. Your still gonna compete, they know they may not win but theres opportunity that something might give like last year that had us get all the way to the Finals.

They are playing the odds, and margins withing the title runs looking around. Its safer to go this route.

I need Lowry to be a role model and not a toxic presence. He is a vet like Kevin Love now. Play your role, and help the team today and tomorrow and the Heat will keep you on like they did with Love. Be a problem because you can’t accept your age and your potential earned change of role, then you will be traded.

3 is expected. You can’t have half your roster in trade rumors 3 summers in a row and not close on any of them, and then expect things to be great.

Do we have the 15th spot filled? No Dragic at the minimum yet for the Haslem role.

I need Kyle Lowry to make things messy and demand Portland only.

Heres the thing, he will most likely earn it. Why because he is a veteran player, and all he has to do is play it safe. Run the plays, make the correct pass, don't go for the homerun play, keep turnovers down, hit the open shots, take some charges. Thats all Spo is gonna want from a player at that role even if he does 9ppg, 5ast, 3rb as his stat line at end of scrimmages.

We don't have another guard on the team, that can play solid and assertive/aggressive to overcome solid veteran play. The younger guys will score a bit more, but commit more turnovers, and they will go for steals and fall out of defensive rotation.
