Make a bold prediction for one Celtics player this season – (Reminisce Thread)
Jordan Walsh > First Team All-Rookie.
Too good to send to Maine so rides the bench early. An injury forces him into the rotation early and he shines defensively and makes eye-popping hustle plays. He earns more minutes as the season goes on and his offense slowly progresses where he ends the regular season playing 15-20 mpg

Porzingis 1st team all D, all-star, all-NBA 3rd´team. Not that bold for me but people don't rate him properly at all... just needs to stay healthy, y'all will see

Porzingis ties Wilt Chamberlain for most minutes played in a season with 3,882 minutes. However, he needs 82 games to do it, meaning Wilt remains the reigning recordholder for most minutes played per game in a season.

Tough to quantify this, but people talk about our roster like we have a clear top 6 and then a hodge-podge for the next 9. By end of season, I think it will be a clear top 6, Hauser as a clear 7th, and then a hodge-podge of the next 8. Hauser will emerge as night and night out contributor a tier above the rest of the roster.

I think Malcolm Brogdon will eventually get traded out of Boston. Probably for Delon Wright and salary filler.

What if he breaks M. Bridges’ RS games played mark of 83 games?

Is that going to be possible with the in-season tourney? Then I boldly predict that Porzingis will play 3,930 minutes in 83 games.

Since the Jaylen Brown thread prediction above is a given, I will go with a bold prediction for Svi Mykhailiuk. I think Mykhailiuk will be part of the regular rotation and average 7-10 ppg for the Celtics.
Now that I put the Celts17Pride curse on him Mykhailiuk he will probably get cut before Game 1.

Re: Make a bold prediction for one Celtics player this season
I know you said one player but...........
I'm expecting the Celtics to have the best record at the all-star break, Mazzulla coaching the all-star game and the Celtics to have 3 all-stars and a lot of talk about if they should have 4 all-stars.
That's right, I'm ready for the season.
Let's Go Celtics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he's really good and has a bright future. I agree it'll take him time to crack the rotation, but I do think he'll earn it and end up making a positive impact on this team.

As much as I love Sam Hauser, I think he ultimately falls out of the rotation in favor of the Walsh/Brissett/Stevens trio who will win over coaching staff with defensive versatility and decent enough 3pt shooting.

Brissett's that dude. Nails down a rotation role.
