He has to have those 40pt, 50pt, 60pt games that Mitchel has and show to be the type of scorer who can be that dominant, in the end he will always be limited, because Donovan can score at the rim with his elite athletism and speed.

Don’t forget the 70 :o

We have the ability to generate 3 FRPs and 3 swaps + players. Lowry and Donovan actually work straight up $$$ wise. Barry isn’t wrong in slightly hoping for Cavs to activate trade talks this year. I just worry Mitchell’s leverage is still a bit weaker this year compared to next year.

I can't see us beating either NY based team for Donovan. That's the problem with these younger stars if they ask out. It'll be a bidding war I can't see us winning.

Especially with Pat leading it

Ive got Bam as our starting point. The consensus is you are the position you are able to defend, or actually do defend. Bam spends the majority of his time defending mid range and out.

That leaves Lowry as our starting center based on his defensive assignments.

And to add to this… wait for it…. Mitchell needs to say he will only go to Miami!

That’s how you do it! Maximum Chit Show!

If theres a vindictive owner thats not the one you start a Chit Show with....just saying.

Lol… just saying. Fool me once shame on you… but I want to be fooled twice! Ask for Miami only next star!! Say you want that Heat Culture!

Jkjk… that’s why Donovan has more leverage at the cusp of free agency than he does this far out. That was the issue with Dame. He has 4 years still on his contract… Portland said shut up and honor your contract. You will go where we want you to go.

It would be pretty awesome if Spo came out and said Bam is our starting PG. That would throw some people for a whirl.

Your starting lineup is "Rich, Caleb, Jimmy, Jovic, Bam" whos scoring on that? thats how it plays on defense, on offense both Bam & Jovic take turns setting up the team.

Pick and rolls/pops
DHO to rolls/pops

Both Bam and Jovic willing to roll and/or pop and coach giving them both the green light to let it fly.

Then reset and run it again with the other player handling. Just spam those on a loop format all game. Championship!

To me the gap between these guys isn't even that large. Tyler is an incredible shooter, but hasn't figured out how to be efficient, yet.
Tyler last season was already 20.1ppg, only taking 16.6 fgs.
Mitchell had an amazing year with the Cavs where he was 28.3 ppg and took 20.6 fgs.

Just doing some napkin math here and scaling Tyler up to 20.6 fgs, he'd be at 24.9 ppg.
Tyler is 3 years younger and you can reasonable assume he will improve.

I just realized everyone here is relishing over the fact we made it to the finals but forgot how painful and stressful of a season it was. I need to stock my liquor cabinet up.

I think the all time bad shooting we had, along with the amount of injuries, made it unbearable, and why most of us wanted us to just tank it away. Then losing the first playing game and almost losing the second gave most people heart attack, but they made it up with their post season run I guess. It was entertaining for sure, but your right, stock up on liquor.

October to February will be summer league on steroids!

It’s all about watching Herro, Jovic, JJJ, RJ, Orlando, Highsmith and even Bam take the next step and show what they have. I also want to see how JRich and Bryant mesh and if Caleb can make his ECF performance a consistent thing for us. Lowry and Duncan are the lesser narratives in my book… but seeing them return to pre-slump form would make for a nice story as well.

Heat Reddit is so deep in the Harden rabbit hole that I just got considerably downvoted just cause I said the heat is more likely focused on what happens with Embiid than trying to get harden on this year’s squad.

Keep Harden far away from the squad. Can’t think of a player that doesn’t match up worse that Harden.

I'd much rather focus on Harden, who's actually attainable, vs pie in the sky dreams of Donovan or embiid. How many times do we have to be told our assets suck?

Lots of times, its sweeter the more times its told to us, I just wish they would just whisper it in our ears, instead of ramming it down our backsides in aggressive WOJ & Sham tweets.

This is why Harden in Miami is such a bad marriage, Mf'r will not rest out here be falling out an uber on gamedays with 4 strippers drunk and high trying to get into the arena 15 minutes before tip off.
