Tough choice this year, I want to watch some preseason before I get all irrationally in love with someone for their grit. Walsh is an obvious pick as I do love some defense and we just drafted him so it's easy to place him as perennial MVP candidate right off the bat but I'm really hoping it's Pritchard, I'm hoping he gets a larger role and has a semi breakout year as a microwave kind of guy. Talk to me again in a month though, lots of new faces.

I let go of some Walsh love when I was hoping for Brogon, Walsh and the pupu platter for Jrue so I wouldn't be too attached to him. I'm waiting for a pre-season game at least before full binky status. Plus he's already got a Shak all over him.

Between how likable he comes across in interviews and other vids that the team puts out as well as the work he did this summer to help out in the community and the work he's done to help raise alopecia awareness, not to mention how hard he plays and the energy/passion he plays with, Walsh is making it hard to not root for him :)
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

KG has never come across as a very apologetic person, but I wonder if he's around during a deep playoff run what he would have to say considering the comments he made in the past about Charlie V.

I’m going with Svi taking a bunch of Hauser minutes. I like his he’s a little crafter with the ball. But it’ll be tough to carve out a spot.

It's Walsh for me. I'm not sure if a proper hype train even exists yet, but I've pre-ordered my first class ticket.

Explosive player with the ideal physical profile for a modern wing. He's got all the tools to be a defensive menace, which would make him a valuable role player even without a proper offensive skillset. He's a massive question mark on the other end of the court but with his athleticism he should be able to score in transition and his ability to hit some threes in Summer League was certainly encouraging.

My hope with him was that he was pigeonholed at Arkansas. They didn't need him to be a scorer, didn't ask him to be one and he bought fully into his defensive utility player role. He's probably behind in his development curve because of it, but I don't think that means he can't be a more well rounded player eventually. Sadly I think he's going to struggle to get any court time this year, probably ultimately for the best for us and for him, but I'll still let myself get carried away anyway.

Brissett and Stevens are distant 2nd/3rd options for me. I think either can become fan favorites just be being defensive hustle players who can squeeze us extra possessions and provide some of that hard nosed play that made Smart so loved. Any offense is a plus, just like with Walsh, but the difference is that I just don't see the upside with them. They are what they are and that's fine, still has a ton of value to a competitive team like us in the right spots, but you can't expect them to be making major leaps at this stage in their careers.

Yesssir. He’s earned his stripes. I fully believe he’ll surprise a lot of people this year as a viable 6th man

Very curious on Walsh but want to let him play before placing expectations on him. (I’m guilty of doing this with Nesmith)

Give PP regular rotation mins, and he would go ballistic om offense hitting most 3’s and penetrating and playmake.

I like Walsh, Queta and Gabriel, in that order.

After seeing them all play in the 2nd Preseason Game, I'm sticking to it.

Walsh - Queta - Gabriel.

If he could just keep his Fouls down, he'll do well.

I'm with ya. Jrue is my binky.

Walsh and Stevens can compete for second place.

I will be the random guy on this board who believes in Banton

But I'm hyped for these high-energy, some-upside guys in their mid-20s (plus the 19-yo kid)

Gabriel has an amazing build at 6’9”, 205lbs with a 7’+ wingspan. But I don’t see it happening.

Gotta move Our Board’s Lord and Savior Queta up into his spot, next to Stevens and Walsh. Tepid about Oshae and especially Banton so far.

I will also keep rooting for JD, and from a distance, Juhann who I believe will actually play for the Boston Celtics some day. I have planted that seed and I will see the harvest!

1 out of my 2 binkie boys is looking good. Stevens is a rotation player. I think Gabriel is gonna get cut.

Two of my binkies are looking good: Svi and Stevens. Not giving up on Gabriel.

Going to be interesting to see what Stevens does especially with some good young role players being cut from other teams.

PS: I am a huge Queta fan. Type of player you try to keep in the organization somewhere

So my original trio of Binkies was
Walsh
Stevens
Scrubb

Scrubb had to be dropped for unfortunate reasons....his replacement

Queta!!!

;ab_channel=TomaszKordylewski

Hot take....I think Queta can bring over 80% of what we had with Rob Williams.
Bigger, Stronger, HEALTHIER, better offensive toolkit, imo.

Obviously Rob is much quicker footed, but I think that Neemias will be a rotation piece. He has not looked out of plaace at all during preseason. Actually looked like he belonged. Was really surprised about that.

Also he and Pritch have seemed to develop some chemistry out there, and that cannot be discounted either.
