Black’s accuracy is looking good! It’ll be interesting to see if he remains a relatively low jump shooter or f that gets added in over the coming seasons.

OT - I’ve always wondered why the really good NBA passers have never tried to “pass” the ball into the hoop. They can hit a guy on the run with pin-point accuracy, so instead why not hit the backboard with that accuracy?

The Magic were top 6 in DRTG in the last 57 games after their 5-20 start. We now added Black and Isaac looks healthy.. They have to be top 5-10 in DRTG this season.

I can see it. That level of defense will make a .500 record very possible.

That release is too low and too slow. It's only really a capable shot on spot ups. He's going to have to change it eventually.

Respectfully, i find that funny because he was the only one making shots. JI and Suggs were like 2 for 20

Dwight made a lot of threes in open gyms, doesn't really matter who made shots in a30 second clip.

What Black is going to have to prove is that he can get that shot off in games and make it repeatable. If he can just be respectable there, opens up his game.

Isaac will probably always be like a 34% shooter and that's fine, it's his health that needs to obviously be there.

Suggs needs to prove he can shoot as well, but his form looks repeatable and smooth which hopefully bodes well for the season.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to accuracy of shooting in camps. Normally they do drills before shooting, sometimes even gym, shooting after sprints & gym feels like you shoot with medicine ball.

Black's shooting form is ugly as hell tho.

It's been one of the more negative summers around the players and rookies. I guess the more successful the team becomes, the more hate they'll receive.

1st team: Fultz, Suggs, Franz, Banchero, Carter
2nd team: Anthony, Harris, Ingles, Isaac, Moritz
3rd team: Black, Howard, Houstan, Okeke, Bitadze

Is how they've been running it so far in camp.

that second team will win some scrimmages for sure...Mo and JI are a potentially complementary pair and Ingles makes all around him look better

I love that they are running Suggs with the 1st team, and Jett at the 2 on the 3rd team. I can't wait to see some live action.

A good sign that Suggs slid into that spot within a day of training camp starting.

From the practice clips, it looks like there is a bigger emphasis on improving the 3-pt shooting.

Who will be the first sub when Franz comes out? Ingles? harris?
