FWIW, Miami is known as a "party town." If coitus and pork sandwiches appeal to him, seems to reason Miami would have been on his "wish" list.

Milwaukee may not be able to compete with Miami when it comes to inventory of alluring tropical women with a sweet tooth for wealthy divorcees, but if you want a pork sandwich, brother, you are in luck, and I will say that with my chest (silently typing this post into real gm dot com slash bucks).

They have been living separately since December. This definitely played a part in him finally requesting a trade.

i used to not understand the Miami allure. i was there for a music festival a decade ago and mostly stayed downtown.. last february, i spent a week on southbeach. those are two very different experiences. i can no longer find fault with any professional athlete wanting to play for Miami

I lived there 10yrs. It's a wild time. You can choose a suburban life or you can choose the crazy south beach life and everything in between.

And ya if you are ready to spend your D.O.L.LA. In Miami there is no shortage of the finest in life. Food, boats, cars, planes, women, clubs, everything of the very best quality at your fingertips.

Somebody tell Taylor Swift that Dame is single! This is the only thing we are missing this season.
Imagine our arena full of 14y girls screaming her name. Way better home advantage than usual.

Seriously I hope Dame and his kids are fine although considering it happened right after the trade I suspect it was work in progress.

My issue is I always put myself on where I would want to live. I'm not a fit 20-year-old with millions of dollars and fame. I'm sure Miami is a lot more fun when $40 drinks aren't an issue and the women actually acknowledge you as a human. To even 22 year old me, it sounds like my nightmare wasting that much money awkwardly walking around a club with no one willing to dance with me.

Maybe Dame can marry a Milwaukee girl like Ersan/Pryzbilla and be trapped here forever! Anyone got a sister to set him up with?

I think that one of the reasons Dame wanted to go to the Heat is that there are no state taxes in Florida. With the impending divorce which is likely to cost him lots of money, no state taxes would have been immensely helpful for him. There might be Nba teams in other states with no state income taxes, but they are probably much weaker teams than the Heat.

If we're wondering whether Giannis colluded with Horst on the contract stuff, I think we got further proof of it, as the Bucks announced yesterday that Johnsonville was replacing Klements as the official brat sponsor.

And of course three days prior, we get this post, pushing brats. He's never had a brat in 10 years of living here?

I don't think its a mystery why anybody would want to play in Miami and that's without even mentioning the fact the Heat are a top notch organization under Pat Riley that has made some great playoff runs with Spo/Jimmy/Bam, they'd be at the top of my list too.

Yes, they have been separated for a while.

Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Good read

Yup, I'm learning that I was underrating Dame. However, I remain correct on my thinking that Chauncy Billups is a bum of a coach.

Here is a well-done breakdown of the historical possibilities of the Giannis / Dame pairing, done by a Portland fan. Very excited for what the future holds for these two! : )

ETA: sorry wrong link before, here is the correct one. Love the graph about Giannis’ teammates and where Lillard stands.
