Can confirm.
I've never seen a crowd as energetic and packed with fans for the home team like I've seen for the Liberty at Barclays.
Go watch a Nets game from any time during the last 11 years, and then watch how lit up the crowd is for Liberty games. It’s a massive difference.

Natasha Cloud got snubbed imo, but everyone is more than deserving.

No surprise here.

Well deserved for Alysha Clark.
For all the tuning in I did for the super teams, I'd always find myself watching Alysha Clark and Benijah Laney.
Clark is like that archetypal player you end up on a pick up team with, and doesnt' look mad talented, but you end up winning games all day because she makes constant great decisions, fills in all the gaps, and sacrifices herself for whatever the team needs to win.

That's embarrassing and unacceptable. Very unprofessional from 2K sports. If you're going to put the WNBA players in the game, and they should, at least do right by them. Come on

Re: 2023 WNBA Season Discussion
I was wondering when this would rear it's head again. It was big news before the season and then went quiet. All the allegations and evidence seem pretty consistent that the Aces did some bad shenanigans. Hammon should know how to use her words a little better than that too.
From a basketball perspective, the whole mess hasn't yielded anything positive for the Aces. Candace Parker shows no signs of returning for the finals. The trade did not work out despite 2 glorious months of basketball to start the season.

I can't say that I'm not disappointed in Becky here. Wow.

I was watching the presser on the official WNBA app (which is fantastic btw! Download it, a member of the Knicks forum runs it), i didn't hear anything about a 2nd team. Toronto would be a good spot for a new team imo.

Same. Especially someone championing women's rights and sports so vocally. And to be clear, the suit names the WNBA itself as well, so there's plenty of blame to go around.
Interesting timing of this to make the news rounds before the finals considering it was filed last month. Makes for maximum impact. It's how these things roll.

Congrats to the Bay Area getting a team, I know the Monarchs were up in Sacramento, but that's up the road a bit.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.
