He is very tough. Very good pick.

Having a starting C could help probably...

Will Toronto do a trade with Kyrie and Pascal as the main pieces? Maybe with Green for Flynn added in if we need to sweeten it. We need to upgrade this garbage roster. I like Luka/Hardy/Williams/Siakam/Lively a lot more than our current situation.

Hardy has negative basketball IQ. This team is unwatchable.

We need Capela or Zubac badly... trade Green , Hardy or some else. I don't care.

We can't start the season with this package of Cs.

Please leave Lively out of it. 2 games, 2 dunks. That's it. First game offensive rating 83, second game 81. Netrtg -40 in first game and -33 in second. That's unplayable as it gets.

Dallas needs to be thinking trades ....... We really havent seen Kyrie and Luka magic yet BUT if Kidd stays with this same old tired offense, underutizing Kyries offensive output. then trade him to the Lakers who will hand the ball over to Kyrie.
Kyrie Irving for 6'8"/230# Rui Hachimura + 6'4"/193# D'Angelo Russell + 7' /220# Jackson Hayes

I have no issues with Lively, but he's too young and not ready. We should've taken Whitmore and then traded Green for Zubac or Green/Thj for Capela

Some comments said he was the only one not afraid to shoot ,thats baloney . Hardy is a small guy who chucks alot of shots . He's not a good facillitator and he's not trying to be. 22 pts on 21 shots plus 6 TO's is not a good outing.
I think Kidd trying to force good play at PG for Hardy is not putting him in the right role. He's a classic SG in a PG's body.

I'd rather see more of Exum at the PG running the offense . He's bigger ,faster & stronger and actively trys to get everyone involved in the offense.

We always blame the players but then we also always somehow circle back to Kidd not using his players in the right way. I actually thought Hardy looked good next to Luka. He gives Mavs another ballhandler (like Kyrie) but he's a bigger body who can either get to the rim or quickly get the shot off. THJ will have to get traded really soon, he's simply worse player than Hardy but he is actually trying to stay within his role while Hardy is being forced to be a PG which he is not. Exum is better than Frank was so Kidd will have to grow a pair and figure this out SOON.

Hardy is the least of the problems. He's playing Kyrie's minutes and taking his shots. His role will be minimal in the end. Mavs have 2 big problems, non existent coach and C.

Lively is obviously the starter if Luka is on court. But the rest of the group is tough to watch. The lack of perimeter defense and playmaking is problematic. Green is still the best perimeter defender with Exum being second. GW really can't perform well against some matchups. The guards are mostly playing selfish. This is the source of poor playmaking problems. Hardy and OMax forces bad shots a lot. Turnover prone without Luka. Curry has to play a lot without Kyrie.

I would understand if you said, Lively might be starter with Luka on the court, when he learns some basics. But at the moment he absolutely cannot be, because offensive game with him is playing 4/5 and he's not providing anything in D beside some help D. His defensive rating was 123 and 115, which is far from impressive and is not even close for making up his disastrous offensive game.

For comparison, Gobert in game 2, offrtg 123.5 and defrtg 74.3. Lively offrtg 81.6 and defrtg 114.9. They played a lot against each other, Lively playing in second half against reserves which improved a little his stats.
