Preseason Game 1: Bulls at Bucks - 10/8/23 - Noon - BSWI - Giannis/Khris/Dame OUT

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Oct 7, 2023 8:12 pm

Last year the starters did not play the opener and only played in 2 of the 5 preseason games. With new coaches/schemes/players they might play more this year.

Although Marques is returning this year I anticipate a Novak game so...mute.

All 5 preseason games will be televised, 4 on Bally's, 1 on ESPN.

Must win blah blah blah.

Probably going to get a heavy dose of the rooks, but I'm okay with that because we actually have some interesting youth this year.

What will the Bulls announcers whine about this year with Grayson gone? Maybe their team getting mollywhopped and being on the longest of treadmills?

Considering they reportedly had a 2 hour practice today I'm assuming very few vets plays in this one.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

And with the first game of the pre-season I’ve already notched up my first mild bit of “oh cool, there’s a game on today!” date confusion, despite closing in on 2 decades of time travelling with you chumps.

I’d like to say it’s because I haven’t had my first coffee of the day (just about to!), but really it’s because I’m a dope.

Cost of living.
“I see the price of being a FIB has gone up again.”
“Yep! Malört, too.”
“That’s what I said!”

Careful- if MickeyD twigs to that length of time being associated to marriage he’ll ban everyone as a reflex action. Then when we’re gone pp25 will buy all our guernseys at the sale table for his kids.

I'm hoping that Novak has put in some work over the summer and becomes someone that I can actually listen to. Surely he gets feedback?

Shooting less threes but way more trashtalk. He needs to watch White Men Can’t Jump (starring Marquis Johnson)

Got me as well.... I saw the date 8/10 and i got temporarily excited. Omg it's today! Then realized it's some annoying time in the middle of the night. Afternoon games are even worse. Giannis hates it, I hate it, the aussies hate it. Afternoon games are the worst.

OK feeling better got it out of my system.
