Maybe not deeper, however there is a ton more speed and athleticism and some young players to develop. Just a different philosophy when it comes to coaching staffs and using some of the roster spots for player development.

Dont know gow you csn count livinston as anything right now as someone tsking up a roster spot i would be shocked stunned if he saw the floor at all this year much as i think AJJ is way way overated think he sees some minutes livingston should be on the herd

Just illustrating the additions and subtractions, not calling anyone legitimate rotation depth.

That jersey can't be for real, barbed wire? I call fake.

Luckily it's just a fan design. It's the In-N-out burger-inspired design!

There were entire seasons where a guy like Bobby Portis might have been our best player! Heck, entire era’s where Khris would have been our leading scorer.

Our team is so loaded right now.
You can make a very strong argument that our 2 best players are the two best players to ever play for the franchise since Kareem and even at his current age/health our 3rd best player would probably be top 7 since then

Interesting, White starting and Jrue coming off the bench for Boston.

Celtics giving $30 million to a guy who's gonna give you zero postseason value is certainly a choice. Pritchard sucks.

So far in this Celtics/Sixers game Tatum looks like he smoked a bowl before the game and Brown is wearing his shorts backwards lol.

Maxey and Porzingis look good though.

Maybe my opinion will change 20 games into the season. But as of now on paper, this current version of the Celtics doesn't strike anywhere near the fear in me as they did the previous 2 seasons.

They've lost so much heart and toughness trading away Smart, Robert Williams, Grant Williams & Brogdon. I'm big on heart & intangibles (Like PJ brought for us) and all 4 of those guys were huge in that area.

KP is a really good player, but he can never stay healthy.

Holiday improves the Celtic's perimeter defense. But trading away your rim protectors to help improve your perimeter defense seems counterproductive when the teams you are going to need to beat are lead by Giannis, Joker & Embiid.

Porzingis looks good for Boston. Although it sucks that Embiid isn’t playing today, would’ve been very interesting to see how it played out.

Jaylen is still not that good IMO, it is WILD to me that he’s on a $303 mil contract. Still a tunnel visioned dude with massive ballhandling deficiencies. And it still doesn’t seem like he understands that - last possession they had Tatum, Jrue, White on court and Jaylen’s trying to set everything up.

I honestly think Dre could clamp him in a series lol.

Good to see Jrue out there, he still looks mostly like Jrue. Maybe a tad slower but probably just him not trying in preseason.

Almost feels like they gave him that contract so it becomes easier to acquire a bigger target later

"As far as shooting performance goes, is that shaking off the rust tonight?"

The reporter asks Jrue Holiday after his 2-10 from the floor...
