You want to win as much titles as possible. The catch is you need to name the actual years they played in based on your preference. Don't take contracts in consideration.

So for example:
1-Year Peak: Stockton/Malone/Reggie (1995) or Steph/Klay/Draymond (2016)
5-Year Window: Stockton/Malone/Reggie (1991-1995) or Steph/Klay/Draymond (2015-2019)
Career not necessary

Draymond and Klay are the weak links here, respectfully. I wouldn't take them in any of these scenarios. For years, let's go 1992 for peak and 1990-94 for 5-year window.

Edit: OT but I always wondered how other people saw Reggie MIller's defense. To me, he was good at denying the ball and had a great motor but obviously wasn't very physical. Overall I would still say a solid defender though.

Relative to era, so no need to speculate how one core would do in another era.

I think the Warriors trio is more talented overall, not least because they have the best player in this comparison. We also know that they can all be utilized to their strengths (and make up for each other's weaknesses) whereas it remains a question how the other trio will work (can all of them be maximized at the same time, or does Miller not need a different offense compared to Stockton and Malone?).

So I'll take the Warriors trio for 1-year peak and the 5-year window. It's more difficult for careers because the 90s trio has a considerable longevity advantage and it's unclear how much the Warriors trio can add to it. Still, with a more conservative approach I'd again take the Warriors trio but I totally understand if someone willing to gamble on the fit would take the other trio as they have more playoff runs in them. That enhances their ceiling in terms of potential championships if the players mesh well.

Reggie/Malone/Stockton sounds pretty damn insane offensively, actually. Supercharge two overmatched (by ATG standards) 1st/2nd options with a Curry-level playoff scorer who's as much of an ironman as them? Yeah, I'd take them both for 5 years and (this one pretty easily) career.

Green's peak is just too damn good to not take them in a single year, though.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

1 and 5 year, Golden State’s triad

Career, the Utah duo and Reggie (side note, two playoff droppers being paired with a rather notorious playoff riser is a little funny when it comes to juxtaposition  )

Anyhow.. all of the reasons for a different career choice boil down to better durability

You take the proven trio in GS. IMO, the greatest team drafting to what became a dynasty in league history. We'll probably never see it again in our lifetimes. Reggie, especially playoff Reggie would throw a wrench, fitment wise, into those great UTAH teams. I like PS Reggie but he vastly upped his game come playoff time and while I am sure that they figure it out I never go against 'what actually happened' and we don't have to speculative with GS's trio. We know it works, and works extremely well.

Yeah, this is about where I sit.

The health coupled to Reggie's ability to elevate his scoring in the playoffs (which helps overcome the scoring issues the other two had) is a big, big deal.

But for a single, incandescent season, gotta go with the Warriors triad.

I'll take Stockton/Malone/Reggie any day of the week, Stocktons passing and defence coupled with his P&R synergy with Malone, Malones defense and post presense and Reggie's off ball movement and shooting makes them a dangerous core
