Putting it that way, sounds like Luka is like James Harden.

Mac Jones still sucks. Master of the pick 6.

I wonder how many Super Bowls Belichick would have won from 2001 to 2019 if his QB was Mac instead of Tom.

By swapping out Dame for Scoot, the Blazers upgraded their musical talent immensely.

This team is so bad. The defense which looked solid in preseason can’t stop anybody. The offensive line is easily the worst since I have been a Patriot fan (1980). Yet the 2 kickers and special teams are somehow even worse. The key to all those Tom Brady teams was a very good offensive line which he also elevated with his lightning quick decisions. Mac sucks but he also has no chance. Pats are among the worst teams in football. They way overperformed in weeks 1 and 2.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I always thought O-Line was one of our bigger weaknesses during Tom's days. Comparatively speaking, at least. When we got beat, it was often just because our opponent was successful pressuring Tom.

Current team lacks faith in itself. That is partly a product of not being that good, but Mac can also do better from a poise and leadership standpoint. There should be no sulking, no cheap shots. Tom was an incredibly emotional player, but he did a mostly amazing job of channeling his emotion.

I think a Brett Favre comp is still workable for Mac. But I'd be cool seeing us trade for Trey Lance, and/or targeting a QB in the '24 draft.

They will tank for Caleb Williams.

Belichick has run his course. Gonna end up just shy of Shula’s record, or else this franchise is going to lose every fan they’ve ever had letting him try to get there.

Me, for instance: I cared a lot for a long time, going back to the early 90s. Now I honestly dgaf
Paul Pierce appreciation society.

The NFL is different than the NBA, no Lottery and Strength of Schedule hurts the Patriots in
finishing with the worst record. But, there seems to be several other quality QBs in this Draft,
though Bill will probably take a Guard.

haha, wow. Good for him for having the balls to do that.

From following Scoot during the season leading up to the draft, he has a ton of confidence. And now that Dame finally got traded, Scoot finally can feel like that team is his..so his confidence will be even higher.

This rookie class will be fun to watch..especially Wemby, Chet, Scoot, Miller, the Thompson twins and Jarace Walker.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Real Madrid just dropped 127 on the Mavs to beat them by 4. Old friends Yabusele and Poirier combined for 37 points (15/24 shooting), 19 boards (7 offensive), 3 assists, 4 steals and 10 blocks. I know it's only preseason, Kyrie didn't play (no surprise here) and Luka was limited to 5 minutes but that Dallas frontcourt isn't going to cut it. I wouldn't be shocked if Doncic wanted out next summer.

Grant Williams vs Yabuesle would've been fun to watch.

They just signed an elite defender in Grant Williams though.

Just put on the Nuggets game and heard SVG say the Nuggets have the best starting lineup in the league. Stan hasn't been keeping up to the NBA all offseason, I guess. :dontknow:

From the standpoint of chemistry, fit, and continuity on top of having the best player in the world, I don't necessarily disagree with Stan. The Celtics have to prove it on the court still. Joe hasn't even revealed who our starting lineup is yet.
