Final thing I’ll say on it….for this game. Load management hasn’t helped us one bit for half a decade. We’ve been one of the most heavily load managed teams in the league for multiple seasons and we’ve failed. The title run almost didn’t happen if Gianni’s was a cyborg but a major injury still happened that year. Maybe. Just maybe. Try something different.

We didn't load manage from during 2017-19. Didn't really work out for us either. Winning in the playoffs is hard and involves a lot of luck.

But we didn’t fail because of injuries. We failed because of roster makeup and Gianni’s not being a top 3 player yet. This team should have more than 1 finals appearance in the last 4 years and we Havnt because of injuries. Load managing doesn’t seem to help and 4 years kind of show that. In the meantime all your doing is giving a middle finger to the fan. I’m not asking for 40 minute games here. Just play for 15 minutes. I’m guessing some practices are harder intensity than these games. Give the fans something. I’m surprised your ok with your favorite team telling you “**** off your enjoyment doesn’t matter. Now give us more money or I’m leaving” ok I’m don’t on that subject for real now.

hes the 2nd best body up defender of any 3-4 on the roster in the exact same way giannis is the best.... and theres a real chance if giannis plays the way this coach is hoping the rest of the team needs to play that giannis would foul out in 10 minutes too

Final thing I'll say, is that you clearly have no idea about this. Because your n=1 sample of the Bucks not winning a title load managing players, it doesn't work? What a ridiculous argument.

Show me we are the most load-managed team.

Show me that playing guys more is going to somehow reduce our injury burden.

I get your frustrated, but you've added nothing to any argument other than complaints.


One of the best injury-reduction strategies we've implemented in seasons is bringing Dame in. As this theoretically stops Giannis resorting to his barreling-into-the-lane strat, reducing his offensive workload. Conversely, his defensive workload may increase and he may put himself at more risk there. I'm fascinated how that plays out. And ultimately it may all mean nothing, as Steger says, 'a major injury happened' still, and will anyway. (I think he was referring to Giannis hyperextension, which wasn't actually major at all, just looked it)

Anyone's complaints about paying good money for tickets and then have guys not play is very fair. That would give me the ****.
