Anyone else notice the Pelican commentators love us more than their own?

They’re actually a solid and knowledgeable group.

Its Jett time. I think he's gonna drop a cool 15 in the half

Also I reject the whole "AB and Cole both need the ball!" sentiment - the new NBA nobody really "has" the ball. There's less CP3 and Rondo types and it's pretty much by committee... it's more like neither is the greatest off-ball option because neither are Hield or Redick-like SG archetypes. When Cole has the ball, he's looking to score first which we need at times. When AB has the ball, he'll look for others first, which we will need at times.

Black's biggest strength his rookie year will be his defensive activity and connector play ability by moving the ball and hitting the open men, I don't think even necessarily he needs to be given that much on-ball reps right away, considering he did have some TO issues in college as well. Splitting the duties is perfectly fine his rookie year.

I think having a guy like Jett or Ingles at the three with them will make that lineup better, assuming they start with a 10 man lineup or something. Or Wagner. Otherwise the offense rests too much on Cole.

I do actually like Mo but he's just not really a C at all on either end. My preseason hot take is I still like Goga as backup C. Naturally provides more of what we need at that position.

I'm so relieved that Black was solidly in rotation. He looks really solid.

I’m so tired of WCJ being out ‘spacer’. He takes SO many 3’s. Why is he ALWAYS out there?

Coach need to change this lineup and sit all the starters down. We're playing against their second unit, not necessary.

I love you SOUL, but no.

Black's a guy that teams are going to liberally help off when he's planted in the corner.

Cole has to be defended as a shooter, but he's a guy who has basically no ability to do much of anything when he isn't pounding the air out of the rock.

Yes, teams want and often have multiple ball handlers on the floor, not arguing against that.

I'm simply saying those two guys and their respective skill sets are not a particularly good pairing.

Feels like Suggs is shooting it but not aiming to make it, if that makes sense
