The "highlight reel" stuff on offense is gonna get him hella overrated, but the defense is gonna get overlooked in favor of the former. He's still the most freakish and functionally athletic guy at that size that I've ever seen. Which is why it's annoying to me that he even tries the dumb fadeaways and fancy dribble moves (both of which he currently sucks at). I don't think it's crazy to think he walks into the league as a DPOTY level guy, just with incredibly raw offense.

Yeah the defensive impact is going to really be something to watch. Spurs were by far the worst defensive team in the league last year. Not going to happen this year if he's healthy for even a chunk of the season.

I think the Suns got Allen as a 3+D point guard that can bother Jamal Murray. Anything else besides shooting 3s and guarding Murray is extra. Its a good plan, I think both Suns and Allen benefit.

Fantasy basketball question. Dynasty league 8 cat (turnovers don't matter). Picking 4th so will probably end up choosing between the Thompson twins. I didn't pay much attention to this years NBA draft so have really no opinion on who's better.

Edit add: plot twist the Houston Thompson went 3rd so now I have to decide between Miller and Detroit Thompson

Wowww, some people can't get out of their own way. He was in line for a borderline max contract, lost that. Now his second chance is done and likely out of the league. Hard to comprehend how stupid he is. All to smash his ex girl's windshield. I thought he was under contract, how have authorities been unable to find him??

"Bridges allegedly violated the protective order in January by showing up at his ex-girlfriend’s residence and smashing her windshield. They’re currently involved in a custody battle, according to Allen and Counts. The warrant dates back to January, while the summons was issued Wednesday.

To this point, the Mecklenberg County Sheriff’s Office has been unable to serve the warrant, per Allen and Counts.

Getting excited about a Wembanyama dunk is like getting excited about me dunking on a Nerf hoop. Both are very thrilling and worthy of praise.

Spurs open against Dallas on ESPN, looking forward to that one.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

They've had some real winners over in that locker room.

How nuts is Jones? Too nuts for a 2 way deal? Probably. Would I draft him in the G League draft? That I'd probably do. The Herd have multiple 1st round picks.
