Denver's rookies looked better than our end of the bench guys.

Keon Johnson is not too bad. Little and Bates-Diop have been disappointing
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yuta has surprised me the most. He moves very well. I could see him playing some minutes with our starting group. Might be someone who could eventually get into the starting 5, although Okogie has looked really good. This Suns team is “…..deep.. holla!”

Had to throw in that Thunder Dan quote lol

Little and KBD have not looked very good. Some mentioned KBD as our 5th starter before the preseason started, I don’t see it right now. His shot release is tough to watch.

Benefit of having depth we can guys underperform and still be solid 9-10 deep each night

KBD has definitely disappointed considering I had thought about him as the potential 5th starter. He just looks kinda lost out there. Still preseason but I don't think getting pushed down from a potential starting role to the 3rd/4th guy off the bench helps with his skill set. On the other hand, Yuta has absolutely flourished. He just knows where to be to be a release valve for anyone with the ball and he's always ready to shoot or attack the close out.

Bates-Diop seems like a laconic dude not sure preseason games in a new system is his thing, he'll come good when we need him.

Still a touch worried about interior defense, gave up 115 even though they didn't get a heap from other areas.

Turned the game on right at the end of the 2Q. Good ol' KUTP Suns music brings back memories.

Happy birthday!

It was a good first half taking into account that the Nuggets played Murray and Jokic a good amount of minutes.

Okogie our best player IMO. I liked what I saw from Gordon, Allen, Metu and I love Nurkic’s physicality around the paint.

In the second half Bol Bol didn't help us with his "non-screens" and defensively he had a tough time covering any type of player.

It's early, but ya in the two games KBD has looked every bit the part of a bench JAG.

What are KBD and Little’s games supposed to be? Neither of them looks particularly good at anything. Both have hit some 3s but not with consistency. KBD had a handful of defensive plays but doesn’t really stand out on that end. Neither seems like a dependable driver, though KBD at least tried a few. What are we (in theory) expecting these guys to bring? If neither is a contributor we’re going to be a little weak at the 3/4. Metu has been a pleasant surprise. If Ewwbanks keeps up his Landale impersonation I’d rather give Metu the backup 5 minutes against smaller lineups

dude just ain't good...

If you're a end of bench guy who needs to be with starters to be productive....then you're not a very good player

He is good enough for a two-way contract so I am OK with him on the Suns.

He's much better and more versatile on O than I expected. I was under the impression he was a 3-D guy, but he looks like much more than just 3's on O, and unfortunately not quite a capital D though he's frisky and doesn't look like a liability. Think we're gonna need at least one of KBD or Little to show out as a strong defender that we can deploy when needed. They look like the only guys on the squad who could give the big physical wings a hard time.

I must say I'm stunned, I didn't know he was that good and Wantanabe reminds me of Toni Kukoc

Yeah it's more that, it solidifies his 2 way status rather than giving some hope he could crack the rotation in any meaningful way.
