If none of our options had solidified themselves as a starter, who’s the best player we can get for like Pat+Marjon?
still learning the game

I would be keeping a close eye on the Clipper/Harden situation if I were the Bucks in case somehow Terrance Mann becomes available.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

This part probably explains why he hasn't played in the first 2 games.

“I’ve been on the floor during practice,” Lillard said. “It is a process, but it doesn’t take long. The first day, I was really tired. It was the day I spoke to you guys (the second day of training camp). I was really tired that day because it was literally my first time. I don’t even mean, like, ‘Oh I had played some in the summer.’

“I hadn’t played at all, so the first day, I was really tired, but then by the next time I got out there, I felt a lot better. And then the next day, I felt a lot better, and then yesterday (Monday) when we practiced, I felt my best. I didn’t get tired much. I had my legs. I was hitting shots. I was getting to the rim, you know, I had my step. It was like I felt better. So I’ve felt real good as the days have added up. I feel good about whenever I get on the court I’ll feel good.”

I look forward to the Dame doesn't stay in shape narrative
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Yeah, I wouldn't put too much stock in him having off games right now. He's still developing & its obviously mental.

I don't buy him beating those guys in one on one & that not translating. He's not Jordan Nwora.

the thing that's strange to me is that he doesn't seem to have much of a one on one game when you see him on the court. he's not overly fast for his size. doesn't have the greatest handles. isn't a knock down shooter. and tbh he's not really that good of a finisher. so how the hell is he beating guys like Giannis and Dame one on one? Maybe it's the defense?

This is my second 'damn' moment in two threads. Firstly, how many options we have for Graysons spot that are actual NBA players and now remembering our expectations for Nwora last season.

Nwora played well for the Pacers last year and will be in their rotation again. He doesn't fit on this team, but a red flag for Bud that Carlyle got far more or of him than Bud could.

There is a massive difference in saying "go shoot we don't give a damn about the season" and "only take good shots because we're a contender." He's an empty stats guy on a **** team.

Aren't you really big into on/off numbers? Nwora's on/off numbers in Indiana were just as bad as they were in Milwaukee. More minutes on a worse team doesn't equate to them getting more out of him
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

You don't choose where you grow up.

That said he probably preferred Minneapolis, since its even colder.

If he was just out there chucking for the Pacers, how do you explain the 59TS%? Making bad shots means you're a good scorer.
