Got a link to where Joe said that? He sure gave Rob, Griffin and Smart lots of mins last season..none of them were very good shooters or 7-footers..

Both of our bigs (al, KP) are shooters..our top 6 guys can all shoot. So it's perfectly fine if we have a guy in the 8 or 9 man rotation who's not a shooter...because they'll be on the floor with 4 shooters.

I don't think Brad would've added all these guys to the team who are under 7 feet and questionable shooters (Banton, stevens, brissett, walsh, gabriel) if there was no chance Joe was gonna play any of them.

Got a link where Joe said that???? Hahaha
Get real. Those guys won’t get a lick of playing time anyways. One of brissett or lamar would get cut. and don’t be too salty.

Pritchard making a leap is kind of significant.
Svi being good is, too.
Brissett and Stevens are fine for their redundant role. One of them will start hitting threes eventually and he’ll get those minutes.
Hauser and Luke are fine bench pieces and Queta I NEEIMAS QUETA!

I like Svi a lot. And Queta is probably the next guy who is better than my expectation.

It's crazy how Mo Bamba has made a career as a pro basketball player despite still having no idea how to play basketball.

No that's not right at all. They all played about 17 minutes in the 1st half and then sat the 2nd.

Word out was that he improved his 3pt shot every year in the league and was up to 38% last year. He hasn't even been close with some of these shots. Defensively I wouldn’t say he’s excellent either..I expected more.

He's been pretty close with all the shots I've seen. Let's not overreact to a couple of preseason games where he's only taken a couple of shots in each game and still adjusting to playing with guys he's never played with before.

His defense has been better than anyone on our team during the preseason, outside of our core 6 guys. Disciplined, doesn't reach in for silly fouls. Able to make some heads up plays to switch over on help defense to cover an open man out on the perimeter. Locks up his man..

The guy played 62 games at 18 minutes per game for a 4th seed team. There must be something he’s doing well then right?

He’s the ultimate hype machine for scrubs haha. Don’t let him start on Kornet lol.

This game must have been fun for Walsh. Ricky Council IV on the Sixers - him and Walsh were teammates last season at the university of Arkansas.

Holiday
White
Brown
Tatum
Porzingis

Pritchard
Mykhailiuk
Hauser
Brissett
Horford

Banton
Walsh
Stevens
Kornet
Queta

That should be the hierarchy with Queta being ahead of Kornet for 3rd big.

Tbf, I didnt say he was horrendous or anything like that. Just that I expected more. If anything you prove my point. Dude played significant minutes for the Cavs and now he can’t stand out in a line up of Queta, Walsh, Davison and Svi. He should be ‘the guy’ in that line up and he wasn’t.

But we’ll see..maybe he’s better in the regular season, **** knows.

I think we can safely say we have a top 7.
White, Holiday, Brown, Tatum and Porzingis
Pritchard, ( ), ( ), ( ), Horford

I think we can also somewhat safely say that Svi and Hauser will get the backup SG and SF spots. The PF spot is Brissett's to lose. His only realistic competition is Stevens and Gabriel and considering that Brissett is the only one with a guaranteed contract and a player option for next season, I feel that is locked up too. I do like Gabriel though and think he will be much better as the season goes along.

The 11th-15 spots are pretty set too, with, in my mind, only the five spot even somewhat in question. Banton, Walsh, Stevens, Gabriel and Kornet or Queta. I think Queta has a much higher upside than Kornet, but Kornet has been around long enough to at least know where to go. I would like to see Queta there, but considering we still have access to him to play some with the big squad, just not the playoffs, it probably will stay as is.

I hate to say it, and it sucks, but I look for Scrubb to get released, and the team look for another 2-way player to take his place. I also don't think we will ever see Davison on the club full time, especially now since Pritchard has been extended. I do look for Davison and Steward to have a camp battle, but I don't think it looks very good foe either of them long term. We could have a completely new set of 2-way players by end of October, or they could be exactly the same as is.

Banton went back to being a human shrug in preseason game #3. I assume he has a fan or two in the front office, but I think he's the one vulnerable to turning into Blake Griffin if Blake says he wants back in anytime between now and spring.

idk man. Let's not pretend Blake is some superstar here. He was kind of washed last season and now this season he's another year older so even more likely to be washed.

We already have 5 bigs (al, KP, kornet, Queta, Gabriel). If we replaced Banton with Griffin, that'd probably be too many bigs and not enough guys who can handle the ball.

Guys (like Banton) who are 6'9", can handle the ball, run the point, run PnR, get downhill, pressure the rim, see the floor while also holding their own own D and defending multiple positions don't grow on trees - and he's still only 23 yrs old.

Banton was not good tonight and his competition Hauser Svi and PP were, but still only one game. He still may be ahead of Stevens and Brisset.

Seems like revisionist history to say Blake is washed. I’m fine if they want to develop young guys and don’t think he would have the minutes or he wants to retire or play out west or whatever. But he was a solid deeper bench guy last year.
