I wish I knew French well enough to give her a cool nickname, because she's such a bad ass hooper. The only french words i know are highly inappropriate ones that I learned from a girl I dated from Quebec back in college :lol:

Becky’s no idiot. With 3-4-3 days rest between the first four games, no need to run a deep rotation.

Ionescu needs to get her head out of her butt and stop playing like Coby White. Take good shots, move the ball, don’t let these doubles fluster you. She’s better than that.

Same with Vandersloot. I don't want to see that timid crap I saw in the 2nd half of game 1. Get aggressive. Get physical!

Too long of a break between games imo. If the Finals are going to take so long anyway it should be best of 7.

If I had to make an educated guess, Sunday/Wednesdays are probably the sweet spot that the league's MARKET research dept has found for optimal viewership. which is crazy to think about considering Sunday is the NFL's day, right? But check this out:

The Las Vegas Aces' 99-82 victory over the New York Liberty in Game 1 was seen by 729,000 average viewers on ABC — the most for an opening game of the Finals since 2000 (872,000) when the Houston Comets beat the Liberty, per SportsMediaWatch. It was a 31% increase from the 2022 Finals' Game 1 (555,000).

Yeah without knowing the scheduling limitations, the space between both games and rounds is too big. But both teams are in the same predicament so...
