Bedard Could Be Dealt For Everyday Players
29th October, 2007 - 2:09 pm
Boston Globe - Erik Bedard is one name that Baltimore insiders suggest could be dealt.

The feeling is the Orioles have enough starting pitching and need everyday players. Bedard could bring two or three major league-ready players. [READ]

If we have a chance at Bedard we have to seize on the opportunity. Im sure the price starts with either Milledge or Gomez and something else, but I have to take this deal...

I was thinking that the O's would start with Reyes (as ridiculous as it sounds) and Pelfrey...

Seeing that O's were willing to take Milledge in the three way that died in the 11th hour 2 years ago, it would probably start with milledge and pelfrey.

This guy was arguably the best pitcher in baseball this past season, the price starts with Reyes, who Id easily part with in order to get Bedard...

Guy is a true STUD

Your crazy, no way do we trade Wright, Reyes or Beltran. Arguably the most talented trio in baseball.

I'm open to trading reyes but not for a guy who hasnt even pitched 200innings yet. He might have been dominant this year, but hes had 1 great year and 1 ok year.

don't get rid of reyes for him, but if milledge and pelfrey is all it takes to land a guy who struck out 220 in 180 IP please do it now

Bedard being a stud is not the problem but having one of the best young SSs int he game locked up semi cheap for the next 4 eyars (5th option) you cant move him.

Yeah not a chance that Reyes, Wright or Beltran are moving for him. Pelfrey and Milledge is a reasonable but steep offer, Bedard is a true dominant lefty that we can use. When Perez is on he is good, but having two shutdown lefty's would mean a lot...

whats up with the reyes trade talk, after a half of a season slumping, but 2 good years before that, you want to trade him, reyes is a proven star, and you want to trade him for bedard? lets get real
