Frankly, I think if Kawhi and PG wanted RoCo to be starting, he'd have been starting. Ty took the heat for RoCo not playing but the Big Two have a lot of say. If either one came to Ty and said, put RoCo out there with me when I'm leading the second unit and let me try to get him going.

The starting lineup with Mann as the so-called point guard put up insane stats but KL and PG torpedoed it and pushed for getting Westbrook instead.
If they wanted to play with RoCo, coach would have said, sure, let's give it a shot.
Now none of them have any choice. If the starting PF is RoCo or the starting [SG? SF? PF?] is Mann, so be it. Shut up and win.
In fact, that should be the Clippers ad phrase this year.
